| 1 | Supply, fabrication, installation, and commissioning in repair/replacement of a retro-reflective glow sign board for MES offices/works, complete in all respects and as specified and directed. The work comprises providing a double-sided sign board of size 2000 mm × 1500 mm made of 2 mm thick Aluminium Composite Panel with 2 mm aluminium skin, incorporating High-Intensity Prismatic Type IV retro-reflective sheeting conforming to IRC:67–2012, with a green background and white computerized cut vinyl reflective lettering as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, designed to reflect light when illuminated by external sources such as vehicle headlights. |
| 2 | Item No.1 Contd....... The sign board shall be supported on two 40 mm diameter mild steel (MS) pipes of 3 mm thickness conforming to IS:1239, fixed at a height of 3.5 m above ground level, complete with base plates of size 150 mm × 150 mm × 6 mm and anchor bolts. The MS members shall be finished with two coats of anti-corrosive primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint in green colour. The work includes providing PCC M15 (1:2:4) foundations for each pole measuring 0.40 m × 0.40 m × 0.60 m, including excavation, reinforcement with four numbers of 8 mm diameter MS bars conforming to IS:432, centering, formwork, backfilling, and curing. The sign board shall be securely fixed using stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers (M10) conforming to IS:1367. The job includes all labour, materials, tools, plants, transportation, alignment, leveling, erection, and finishing, complete in accordance with relevant IS standards, IRC specifications, MES practices, and as directed. |
| 3 | Supply, laying and testing of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed, grade cross sectional area 95 sq. mm 3 core in trenches / pole/ ducts complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth work, sand cushioning and cable cover / bricks will be measured and paid for saperately under relevant item of Schedule. |

| 5 | M&L for boring of horizontally holes under the road below 1.0 mtr from the road/hard surface by trenchless techonology using ultra sound technique and inclduing necessary machine without damaging the existing road and getting out in any type of soil and disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50m from the site of work including supply & laying HDPE pipe up to 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 MPA work pressure . NOTE: AVERAGE WIDTH OF THE ROAD IS 20 RM. Necessary permissions required from state Govt and other Civil bodies for doing the job is the responsibility of contractor. |
| 6 | Cutting the existing road straight by manual, depth and width not less than 1 mtr below ground level for passing of underground cable and filling back with excavated soil upto 75% road portion and 25% shall be made with cement concrete 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded aggregate stone) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Necessary work permissions for the works to be carried in Civil/Public areas/Defence areas to be taken by the contractor prior to starting the work. Laision with concerned departments is the responsibility of contractor. Department will do the necessary authorised correspondence for the said approvals. No extra payment will be entertained on this account. |
| 7 | Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil for foundation of poles, structures, stay rods, laying of underground cable etc complete all as directed. |
| 8 | Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5M wide and exc.1.5M & upto 3.0M in depth for foundation of stay/ pole and etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 9 | Returning, filling in soils including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as directed. |
