| 1 | Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of factory assembled and factory tested, compact, close coupled, Diesel Engine Alternator set as per CPCB-IV+ norms capable of delivering not less than 30 KVA/24KW at typical site conditions with suitable acoustic enclosure, standard manual control panel, base frame, AVMs, required capacity of low maintenance cranking duty battery for 12V starting system of the DG set as per the manufacturers specifications with leads and terminals, residential type silencer and MS 'B' Class exhaust piping and bellow type flexible piping with supports, fuel tank of capacity suitable for 8hours of running at full load with GI braided flexible fuel piping and heavy duty MS piping wherever required of suitable size, integrated microprocessor based control system for monitoring, protection and control of Diesel generator set. Provisions for operating the DG sets (Start/Stop) from the push button switches located on the DG set control panel. | 3 | ALTERNATOR: The alternator shall be copper wound, self excited and self regulated through , brushless type conforming to IS:13364 (Part-2) latest, capable of delivering minimum 30 KVA/24 KW at typical site conditions and suitable for operation at 1500 RPM, 415 volts, 50 Hz (0.8 P.F. lag), 3 phase, 4 wire system and also capable to feed up to 40% non-linear (Thyristor) loads with maximum voltage regulation of ±1%. The alternators shall be screen protected, drip proof with IP-23 or better degree of protection as per IS:4691/85(reaffirmed 2004) and class-H insulation with permanent lubrication bearing. The control panel shall be dust & vermin proof, floor mounted with IP-53 degree of protection as per IS/IEC:60947/part-1/2004 & comprising of 1no. 100 Amps (minimum), 415 volts, 50 Hz, 25KA ratings, 4 pole MCCB with over load and short circuit protection, Aluminium bus bars with suitable capacity incoming & outgoing terminals, microprocessor based genset controller with LCD display for monitoring, diagnostic, protection, metering and data logging features for providing genset protection, engine control and display genset parameters (both engine and alternator), control and protection MCBs, fuses, contactors, relays, indicating lamps, SCR/SMPS type 12V inbuilt static battery charger with automatic trickle and boost charging and auto cutoff facility etc. as per detailed specifications attached. | 5 | POWER CABLES: Interconnection between alternator & DG set control panel(located inside Canopy) shall be done with suitable size copper conductor cable wirh end terminations copper lugs/sockets etc. as required. | 6 | ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF THE DG SET AS PER BSNL NORMS: Installation of the above 30 KVA DG set with acoustic enclosure and Control panel on existing cement concrete floor / foundation, making connectintion of the existing power cable & earth strip with the DG set i/c providing lugs, sockets etc, testing and commissioning of the DG set with all equipments, accessories and associated items and conducting Pre Acceptance Testing at site ( i.e, 2 hours full load, 1 hour 10% over load) and Final Acceptance Testing (i.e. running of DG set on full load for 6 hours and at 10% overload for 1 hour after continuous run of 6 hours) by arranging necessary consumables like Lube oil, fuel oil, artificial resistive load with necessary cabling, switching arrangements, required manpower etc. including topping up of lube oil up to full mark and filling of extra fuel up to a level suitable for 2 hours full load working etc. as per specifications attached.
