| 27 | Note for item No. 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 & 16 :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(i) All painting works shall be got executed through original materials manufacturing company or their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submitt MOU with the manufacturing company or their authorised applicators before execution of work and entire work shall be executed with the approved firm.(ii) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(iii) Contractor shall give guarantee from OEM of 5 years for effectiveness of painting carried out by them from the certified date of completion of work.(iv) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(v) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(vi) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(vii) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(vii) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ix) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.
