| 5 | The Bill of Quantities shall be read in conjunction with Notice Inviting Tenders, Instructions to Tenderers, General and Special Conditions of Contract, Employer's Requirement, Technical Specifications and other relevant documents. |
| 6 | BoQ1 consists of three schedules i.e. Schedule ‘A’ for NDSR item (Works Item), Schedule 'B' for NDSR Pway items & Schedule 'C' for DSR-2023 Items. |
| 7 | Tenderers shall quote their offer in Indian Rupees (₹) only. Tenderers are required to quote percentage (%) Excess/Less for Schedule-A, Schedule-B and and schedule-C in figures in the appropriate highlighted cells in the BoQ1 sheet. |
| 8 | The rates and prices to be tendered in the unit Priced Bill of Quantities are for completed and finished items of works and complete in all respect. It will be deemed to include Duties, Taxes, Octroi, Royalty etc., cost of all plants, labour, supervision, materials, transport, all temporary works, erection, maintenance, utility identification, contractor’s profit and establishment/overheads, together with preparation of design and drawings, all general risks, insurance liabilities, compliance of labour laws and obligations set out or implied in the contracts. For taxes and duties refer clause C2.4 & C2.5 of ITT & relevant clause of SCC. |
| 9 | The price offer in the BOQ shall be given without considering any deviation mentioned in Appendix-3 of FOT i.e. price in the box shall be quoted as per tender conditions without any deviation. |

| 11 | Errors will be corrected by the employer for any arithmetical errors in computation or summation as per contract conditions. |
| 12 | The Financial Proposal (as per BOQ) shall be uploaded online on the website http://etenders.gov.in/eprocure/app. The rates shall be quoted in the excel file provided in the bid documents. The tenderer shall download the excel file and quote the rates in BoQ1. After quoting their rates the excel file shall be uploaded accordingly. The rates shall not be offered/quoted elsewhere in the technical submission/ tender submission. |

| 16 | Replacing/Refixing defective elastomeric bearings including arrangement for lifting and lowering the span by providing and operating suitable hydraulic jacks of minimum capacity 200T with check nut, tilting saddle and hydraulic power pack (as approved by DMRC), cleaning of pier caps, dismantling and disposing of existing grout below/above the bearing with all leads and lifts, hacking /roughening of pedestal top, chipping of concrete as per the methodology approved by DMRC. The bearings shall be placed over M.S stool/ plate, to be placed/ positioned on the pedestal and a straight/tapered plate shall be placed between the soffit of girder and bearing as per site condition (cost of tapered plate shall be paid separately). Fixing the straight/tapered plate to the soffit of girder by Conbextra EP-75 or equivalent and applying epoxy mortar (Nitomotar 30 or equivalent) of approved brand in the gap between M.S. stool and top of pedestals are included in the scope of this item. The rates include all other items i/c tools, water, electricity, safety net all around etc. complete in all respect as per the direction of engineer in charge. The entire work shall be executed within the framework of overall bearing and repair methodology or any modification as directed by engineer in charge. The rates also include the cost of providing diesel operated sky lift of required boom length for the bearing replacement work to be undertaken. The sky lift shall be provided at site till the completion of bearing replacement work and no fixed hours are specified. The safety and security of all equipments/machinery/material will lie with agency.The skylift shall have third party certification for its safety worthiness,competency and maintenance certificate.(NOTE: THE PAYMENT UNDER THIS ITEM SHALL COVER LIFTING OF ONE END OF VIADUCT SPAN FOR REREPLACING ONE OR MORE BEARINGS / PEDESTALS REPAIRING). |

Fixing the straight/tapered plate and concrete block to the shear key & girder by Conbextra EP-75 or equivalent and applying epoxy mortar (Nitomotar 30 or equivalent) of approved brand in the gap between shear key , Vertical Bearing, M.S. plate and viaduct girder. The rates include all other items i/c tools, water, electricity all around etc. complete in all respect as per the direction of engineer in charge. The entire work shall be executed within the framework of overall bearing and repair methodology or any modification as directed by engineer in charge. The sky lift shall be provided with an engineer of agency to assist DMRC engineer for inspection and measurement work done before bearing replacement. The skylift shall have third party certification for its safety worthiness,competency and maintenance certificate.All safety equipment’s such as road blocks, caution tapes, lights ,traffic marshal etc. are inclusive in the rates and are to be provided on priority basis. Any helper/ labor required will also be provided by agency within this item. |
| 21 | Providing at site approved quality ELASTOMERIC bearing confirming to IRC: 83 (Part-II) ( of any dimension) from specified manufacturer as directed by DMRC/MORTH vendor list. The supply of ELASTOMERIC bearings shall be accompanied by all relevant test certificates as approved by RDSO and are to be submitted to DMRC for verification before replacement of bearings. The safety and integrity of bearings at site lies solely with the agency and nothing shall be paid extra. Testing of bearings will be done for a Lot of 50 bearings each for which two additional bearings will be supplied free of cost. The dimensions of bearing to be placed shall be directed by engineer in charge. |
