ORIGINAL WORKS 8 Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand onplastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor:(a) One Coat [This item to be done under specific instruction of the Superintending Engineer]N.B.:-Extra for each additional floor in external walls refer item 1 of subhead C

ORIGINAL WORKS 17 Protectiveand Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, asper manufacturer's specification and as per direction ofEngineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. Therate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidentalcharges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat)b) Premium 100% Acrylic Emulsion N.B. The items [17 (b) & 17(c)] ofsubhead A are to be selected only with written permission ofSuperintending Engineer for very resticted and small areas of abuilding.

BUILDING WORKS ( C ) Brickworks,Concrete Works etc?36.Hire andlabour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary stagingupto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks ofapproved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beamsand columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing andstriking out after completion of works (upto roof of groundfloor).(When the height of a particular floor is more than 4 m theequivalent floor height shall be taken as 4 m and extra for worksbeyond the initial 4 m ht. shall be allowed under 12 (e) for every 4 mor part thereof).(e) Extra for staging beyond 4 m in any floor (Mode ofmeasurement: area in plan x mean height of staging upto soffit ofshuttering above initial 4 m).Notes:- For shuttering in shell roof, gridroof with vertical faces folded plate, arched roof the rate in 36 (a), 36(b) & 37 (c ) of subhead B above to be increased by 100 % . For gridroof with splayed faces, rate is to be increased by 150%.
