| 8 | Carrying out Hot Tap work using Hot Tapping as per following scope of work, terms & conditions mentioned in tender documents and instructions of Engineer-in-charge:a) Checking of thickness of the pipe with UT machine and preparation of locations for fittings.b) Loading and Unloading of fittings and equipment at site.c) Welding of Split Tee by qualified welders on operating pipe as per approved procedure for interconnection of existing natural gas pipe as per Scheme. Maintaining sufficient gap between tees and connections.d) Support on existing pipe for hot tap operations (if required).e) Mobilising and placing of sandwich valve, mounting hot tap machine, minor maitenance for satisfactory performance of all the tappings. Sandwich valves to be arranged by hot tap contractor and after completion of the job the same will be taken back by hot tap contractor.f) Providing for Necessary hoses / End Connections for hydrotest, pneumatic testing.g) Testing prior to Hot Tapping.h) Line plugging and cutting of line.i) Removal of Hot Tap machine from all fittings and extraction of coupons.j) Ensuring flow through bypass arrangement.k) Assembly of stopple machines with stopple. Plugging the line with stopple machine.l) Executing cold cutting & installation of new valve with NDT.m) Removing the plugging head, installation of LOR plug by plugging machine for removal of sandwich valve. Fitting of 2\\" TOR and removal of 2\\" isolation valve after work.n) Blinding of fittings with fasteners.o) Mobilising and demobilising of equipment with accessories to job location and back (per location).p) Movement of Hot tap Agency supplied material, equipment and manpower etc. to each loactions.q) Mobilization of Service Specialist.r) Submitting all procedures for approval & obtaining approval thereon prior to start of works).
