| 2 | Design,Supply & Construction of Short Ammunition storage tunnel of minimum 20M length and clear Diameter of minimum 4.5M along with tunnel design(to adhere to codes IRC:SP 91:2019) with STAAD reports duly vetted by an IIT to include geometric design (Horizontal/vertical alignment,vertical clerance envelopes and cross section parameter. Ventilation and Lighting: Air change parameters, visibility indices and lightning transition zone at tunnel portals.Safety infrastructure: Spacing of emergency cross-passages,SOS call boxes,and fire hydrants). The IIT vetted design will also include the Tunnel Support System: Core reference, Section for Dictating the choice, design criteria and load sharing mechanisms of primary and Secondary support systems. Temporary and permanent support system including rock bolts, steel ribs and fiber reinforced shotcrete (FRS) to follow IS 13365 (Parts 1-3). The Bureau of Indain Standards (BIS) code for rock mass classification and selection of support systems. Seismic Zone: The tunnel should be design keeping in mind seismic zone coefficients and dynamic snalysis for structures passing through zone (V) as it si crucial to tunnels in the Himalayan belt (IS 1893 (Part 1) : 2016). Concrete Lining: The tunnel design should provide design mix, durability requirements, and structural calculations fot the final cast in place concrete lining (IS Code 456:2000(or updated)). Fire Safety: The design to adhere to Indian standards for (MEP) layout in tunnel. Where Indian standards do not provide exhaustive quantitative design methodologies following code should be followed (NFPA 502, PIARC Guidelines).
