M&L for preparation of old painted bituminous/concrete surfaces of runway/road for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm wide or girth and applying one coat of runway road marking paint golden yellow, black or white aqua based to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of runway slab / taxi track/dispersal for painting lines, dashes arrows letters (FOD marking) and the like not exceeding 10cm wide and applying one coat of runway marking paint orange aqua based to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing of existing construction/ contraction/dummy joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 10 to 12 mm wide and 27 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air primed and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/deboning strip and top 15mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealant complying with BS-5212 & BS-4254 and EN 141875- 2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides with minimum MAF ± 30% (with ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed from out side MoD land.

M&L for preparing of existing expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 20 to 25 mm wide and 38 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air primed and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/deboning strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealant complying with BS-5212 & BS-4254 and EN 141875- 2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides with minimum MAF ± 30% (With ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed. M&L for cleaning of craks of depth up to 30mm and width up to 20mm in bitumeneous surfaces with mechanical blower and applying bitumen based hardner primer and filling with bitumen crack filler of joint sealer bitumeneous grouting material complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be carried out by authorised applicator of firm. (ii) The warranty of material shall be three years from the date of completion of work.

M&L for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement by cutting damaged portion to slab /spoils edges to triangular / rectangular cross section with mechanical cutter and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling with epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MoD land. (ii) working hours may be restricted due to flying operations. (iii) Unit quoteed rate shall be deemed to included the cost of power supply required for cutting of damaged portion of concrete slab of runway.

Cutting of existing Runway / taxi tracks at cracks and at spalled edges up to a minimum depth of 35 to 50 mm by mechanical tools making groove at edges cleaning through air blower / air blasting and applying propriety primer on the cleaned surfaces to obtain tack and finaly filling in ELASTOMERIC CONCERETE of mak choksey chemicals/CIPY/BASF or equivalent (prepared by mixing part A, Part B and adding fiber glass sand all as per manufactureres instructions) and properly mixing in purpose made mixer plant electrically operated) to obtain a homogeneous mix and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish.

M&L for preparing old black bituminous surface by fibre for removing all loose dust/dirt particle etc sweeping the surface with brooms and finally the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose particle / dust etc and applying evenly a coat of cold bituminous emulsion @ 5 Kg per 10 Square metres by brushing to an uniform and fully blinded surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Cold bituminous emulsion shall be slow setting emulsion (SS-1) (IS:8887) and shall be procured directly from the manufacturer's only and brought at site in sealed drum/container of 200 litres.
