The water proofing treatment is to be Guaranteed for borne dry condition for a period of 10 years. 4. The measurement for payment shall be as per actual area covered by the treatment. |

| 60 | SECTION I - ROAD WORK, FENCING & MISCELLANEOUS WORKS Providing, designing and fixing of 3.00mt Height fencing of Galvanized and Thermoplastic Powder coated welded mesh system with SS Concertina Coil and SS Barbed wire (blades 316 and wire SS304), including PVC H shaped post with 4mm dia. 358 weld mesh, panel height 2.456m and width 2.488m with 4V Bends etc. the fencing produced by electrical resistance welding of galvanized wires and subsequently thermoplastic powder coated as per follows.: Weld mesh Panels for the fence will meet the standards of EN10223-7 with the following key specifications apart from the other points mentioned in the governing detailed specification: (Note:There is no existing Indian standards for Weld mesh panels for fencing Applications) Weld Shear strength: Minimum 50% of the breaking strength of the smallest wire (In this case the vertical wire), Mesh Wire: Galvanized MS wire, Specification for wire Diameter: IS280-2006, Tensile Strength of wire: Minimumn500N/sq.mm, Galvanizing of wire:40–50GSM as per IS 4826, (Measurement as per IS 6745), Uniformity of Coating: As per IS 2633, Adhesion test for coating: As per IS 6745/IS2629, Powder Coating on panels: The galvanized panels are subsequently Thermoplastic Powder Coated after welding with the thickness of minimum 250 Microns. Coating Standard: EN10245-1/IS13871. Powder coating should withstand 1440 Hours of salt spray test, Post sare `H' shaped post, MS material are then hot-dip galvanized to minimum 360 GSM and then Thermo-plasticpowder coated. Post will have with pre-welded base plate of minimum 400 MPA strength using 8mm fillet weld, Base plate will have suitable holes to use SS 316 M20* 300mm Anchor bolts which will be installed at site with Glue for better strength. Powder Coating on post: The hot galvanized posts ares ubsequently Thermoplastic Powder Coated after welding with the thickness of minimum 250 Microns. Coating Standard:EN10245-1/IS13871 Powder coating should withstand 1440 Hours of salt spray test, fencing system will have 600mm dia. SS Concertina Coil (blade SS 316 and wire SS 304 ) having Tensile Strength of wire: 1400-1500 N/sq.mm. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. In case the pick up van is parked inside the BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment.4.Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min) timings shall not be considered for payment.5.Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills. 6. BARC being a strategic Organisation, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid PVC, driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should be of not more than 8 years old, roadworthy all valid documents.8.The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically and always with tyres of good condition. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board \\"ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY\\". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a penalty of Rs. 3000 /- will be imposed for that week. |
