| 1 | Excavation of trenches in hard/dense soil for laying GI water supply pipelines, not exceeding 1.5 m in width and up to 1.5 m depth, including dressing and ramming of sides and bottom, getting out excavated material, shoring/strutting where required, dewatering if necessary, and disposing of surplus excavated earth within a lead of 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, complete, all as specified and directed.(1) The rate shall include excavation in hard/dense soil, breaking clods, dressing of trench bed, and all incidental operations necessary for laying the pipeline. (2) Refilling, watering, ramming, and consolidation around the pipeline shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant BOQ item. (3) Any damage caused to existing underground utilities such as water mains, electrical cables, communication cables, drains, etc., during excavation shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. (4) Excavated material suitable for backfilling shall be stacked separately as directed . (5) Disposal of unsuitable or surplus excavated material beyond the specified lead shall be measured and paid separately, if applicable. |

| 6 | M & L for Galvanised steel wire netting mesh size 50mm x 50mm and dia of wire 4.00mm (conforming to IS 4826). The mesh shall be fixed to steel frame with suitable clamps, nuts, bolts and welding etc all as specified and directed. (Note: sample/ make of mesh shall be got approved from GE by contractor prior placing bulk order). |

| 9 | M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in plinth protection, 100 mm thick, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including making joints 12 mm wide to the full depth of PCC at every 3 metres and at every change of direction and filling the same with & including bitumen85/25 and sand in the proportion of (1:3) by weight complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 14 | Taking up or down 80 mm bore GI water tubing, including all pipe fittings and connections, segregating serviceable and unserviceable materials, keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse, and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete, all as specified and directed.Notes:(i) The cost of excavation, refilling, and disposal of surplus earth shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant items of the BOQ. (2) During excavation for the pipeline, any damage caused to existing pipelines, electrical cables, communication cables, or other underground services shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. (3) Failure to restore such damages promptly may attract penalties as directed by the Accepting Officer. (4)Tenderers are advised to visit the site before quoting and satisfy themselves regarding the existing pipeline route and site conditions. |

| 18 | M&L for water proofing treatment of underground structure including Non-Shrink-Polymeric waterproof grouting compound mixed with neat cement slurry (mixing of ratio as per manufacturers instruction) be injected through the special threaded nozzles under pressure not exc 2Kg/Sqm to ensure that the grouts runs through all pores and cracks in the concrete there by sealing them after injections is over the nozzles be sealed off the CICO Supaplast and applying two coats of a polymer modified cementitious slurry (such as TAPE CRETE or equivalent) complete all as specified and directed |
| 19 | M&L for Mak Premix Ready Mix Road Repair Patching Compound,(Wegrow potseal) for Roads Floor, and making good after laying of pipe with removed soil/debris/dust and finally sealed with patchmat of thickness not less than to match with the top surface of Road complete all as specified and directed. Note: The qty of patch mat measured as per actual ground requirement. |
| 20 | M&L for cutting existing bituminous road/concrete road/plinth protection not exceeding 0.50 metre in depth and 30 cm in width for laying of pipeline, including excavation, refilling with excavated earth in layers, watering and consolidation after laying of pipe, and preparing the surface for restoration, complete, all as specified and directed.Notes:1. Cement concrete and patch mat for restoration shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective items of the BOQ.2. Cement concrete shall be used for restoration of concrete roads/plinth protection, whereas patch mat shall be used for restoration of bituminous roads.3. The restored surface shall be finished true to line, level and camber to match the existing adjoining road/plinth protection. |
