Making and providing decorative wooden log/bamboo pattern RCC railing over RCC plinth beam as per approved design and direction of Engineer In Charge. The railing shall consist of 150mm × 150mm (6\\" × 6\\") RCC plinth beam, 100mm (4\\") dia circular RCC vertical poles at 1.20 Mtr C/C spacing and 1.07 Mtr (3.5 Ft.) height above plinth beam level, one horizontal top rail of 100mm dia circular RCC section and two diagonal cross members (X-pattern) of 100mm dia circular RCC section in each panel. Stainless Steel Murga Jali (SS Wire Mesh) of approved quality and gauge shall be fixed in each panel between vertical poles and cross members complete with all necessary clamps, binding wire, fixing arrangements and accessories. Vertical poles shall be reinforced with 4 Nos. 8mm dia Fe-500 TMT bars and 6mm dia stirrups @ 150mm C/C. Top rail and diagonal cross members shall be reinforced with 3 Nos. 8mm dia Fe-500 TMT bars with 6mm dia ties/stirrups as required. RCC plinth beam shall be reinforced with 4 Nos. 10mm dia Fe-500 TMT bars and 6mm dia stirrups @ 150mm C/C. The work shall include excavation in all types of soil, disposal of surplus earth, providing and laying PCC 1:4:8 (40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation, RCC M-20 grade cement concrete in footing, plinth beam, vertical poles, top rail and cross members including mixing, laying, compacting, vibrating and curing complete. The item shall also include centering, shuttering and scaffolding complete. All exposed surfaces shall be finished with minimum 12mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3, followed by approved wooden log/bamboo texture finish using white cement, approved colour pigments/oxide colours and necessary finishing materials to achieve natural wooden appearance. The work shall further include application of one coat exterior grade primer and two coats of exterior grade weather resistant wood finish paint of approved shade and brand. Stainless Steel Murga Jali shall be fixed complete in position. The item includes cost of all materials, labour, reinforcement steel, T&P, machinery, carriage, loading-unloading, leads, lifts, royalties, taxes, contractor's profit and all incidental charges complete in all respects as per approved drawing and direction of Engineer In Charge.
