Attending oil leakage of 20 MVA, 132/33 kV Power Transformer-Il, NGEF make, installed at 132 kV Sub- Station Kalwari Basti, from main tank top cover and bottom cover gasket joints, CT/HV/LV turret gasket joints, OLTC cover and associated flange joints, Buchholz relay, sampling valve and radiator flange joints. The leakage-prone areas shall be thoroughly cleaned, degreased and surface prepared by mechanical means and the oil seepage shall be arrested by external application of transformer-grade, oil-resistant, cold-curing polymer/epoxy based sealing compound, suitable for use on oil-filled power transformers, without replacement of existing gaskets and without opening of transformer tank. The sealing compound shall be applied and cured to ensure complete stoppage of oil leakage. The rate shall include cost of all materials, labour, tools & tackles, surface preparation, supervision and all incidental charges required for satisfactory completion of the work.
