AFTER DP/MP TEST ON BEARING AREAS AND SERVICING, SAME TO BE FITTED BACK IN POSITION INCLUDING COUPLING, AFTER INSPECTION/ SURVEY. PROPELLER SHAFT FWD & AFT LINERS/BUSHES & SHAFT TO BE CALIBRATED, RENEWED AS REQUIRED . SATISFACTORY TRIALS TO BE SHOWN.PROPELLER SHAFTS NDT TO BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED LEVEL-3 TECHNICIAN IN PRESENCE OF IRS. NDT TECHNICIAN DURING CLASS INSPECTION TO BE ARRANGED BY THE VENDOR ALONG WITH NECESSARY CONSUMABLES LIKE DP TEST KIT,MP SPRAY BOTTLES ETC.STERN BUSH AND SHAFT TO BE CALIBRATED AND REPORT TOBE SUBMITTED .CALIBRATED TOOLS TO BE USED FOR ALL MEASUREMENTS.CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED. REQUIRED CHAIN BLOCKS,LIFTING BELTS,SLINGS,HYDRAULIC POWERPACK & JACKS, OF SUITABLE CAPACITIES WITH LOAD TEST CERTIFICATES ONLY TO BE USED AND THE SAME ARE TO BE PRODUCED.SLEEVE COUPLING/MUFF COUPLING TO BE OVERHAULED.ALIGNMENT READINGS TO BE RECORDED (BETWEEN GEAR BOX AND SHAFT) BEFORE AND AFTER SHAFT ROUTINES. |
