| 1 | Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, in any type of soil including forming sides and bottom surfaces to required level / slope / gradients etc for taking down/laying of the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth etc shall be made good by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost). |

| 40 | M & L for construction of valve chamber in replacement 600 x 600 x 950 mm internal dimensions, 6 mm thick MS sheet cover with 2 Nos MS hinges welded to angle iron frame of 40x40x6 mm thick with lifting hook and locking arrangement complete with necessary earth work, brick work in CM (1:6) 230 mm thick, PCC bed (1:4:8) type D2 150 mm thick, cement plastering, finishing 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) and applying a coat of black bituminous paint to the steel surfaces incl dismantling and removal of old unserviceble valve pit remains all as specified and directed by Engr in charge |
