| 1 | Note for item No. 2 to 5 :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(i) All painting works shall be got executed through original materials manufacturing company or their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submitt MOU with the manufacturing company or their authorised applicators before execution of work and entire work shall be executed with the approved firm.(ii) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected. |
| 2 | Contd.....1/-(iii) Contractor shall give guarantee from OEM of 5 years for effectiveness of painting carried out by them from the certified date of completion of work.(iv) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(v) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(vi) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(vii) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(vii) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ix) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. |
| 3 | M&L for complete removal and preparation of old decorated treatment on internal wall and ceiling finishes by scrapping with trucare wall sander L-01/ H-01 (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7\\"/9\\" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc. or equivalent makes viz Xpress sanding machine having suction vacuum bag or by manual scrapping tools where mechanical removal is not possible and filling cracks, holes etc complete and algae and fungus on the wall to be removed by using high pressure wash or coir brush and shall be treated with fungicidal solution, all surface cracks upto 5 mm width should be filled up with Dr Fixit Crack-X-paste. Cracks more than 5 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP modified mortar or as specified complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M&L for waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 2 mm over the plastered /old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps :- Step 1: Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturers instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2: Apply the first coat the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minute with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI.Step 3: Allow 6-8 hours time to dry the putty surface. |
| 5 | M&L for one coat of acrylic water based interior/exterior grade primer @ 0.8 ltr (undiluted) / 10 Sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | M&L for preparation of old/ new decorated surface treatment on wall/ ceiling and applying two coats of interior emulsion paint coverage 8-10 sqm /ltr of approved tint on prepared surfaces as per approved manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | Taking down cement plaster on brick wall including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | Material and labour for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick or stone surfaces of walls in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement with and including sagol finish complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of chalk white primer complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | Material & labour for applying one coat of interior emulsion paint on wall by roller after preparation of old surface by washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces including crack filled with wall care putty complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Material & labour for applying one coats of white wash on ceiling after preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface on walls include brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots complete all as specified and directed. |
| 12 | Material & labour for one coat of cement base paint on wall, including cracks filled with exterior wall care putty wherever necessary on wall washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces complete all as specified and directed. |
