| 27 | M&L for cutting existing road surface not exceeding 750 mm width and up to 1.50 m depth for laying of water mains, including excavation, protection of adjoining services, laying of pipe, refilling the trench with approved excavated soil in layers, watering, ramming and compaction. The road cut portion shall be reinstated and made good with Instant Patch Mate (or approved equivalent) to match the existing road surface complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 28 | M&L for cutting existing 250 mm dia cast iron (CI) water main and inserting 250 mm dia CI tee of required length for providing branch connections, including excavation, shoring, dewatering (if required), cutting and removal of pipe section, supplying and fixing 250 × 250 × 80 mm equal CI tee, reducers, flanges, clamps, specials, fittings and accessories, making lead joints, alignment, testing for leakage, refilling with approved excavated earth, compaction, disposal of surplus material and restoration of the work site complete all specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
