| 1 | Distempering of old distempered surfaces with one or more coats ( or untill proper hiding of surface is achieved) with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC content less than 50 grams/ltr, of approved brand and manufacture and of approved shade and colour, including applying additional coats wherever required, including thoroughly preparation of the old surface by sand papering, applying with approved make putty to fill the holes, crevices, mild depression, removal of spoils, disposing of debris etc. to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including cost of all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding to the required safety standard, removal / rearranging the home furniture items, stores, etc. and cleaning the floor splashes, etc. all as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 3 | Painting one or more coats ( or untill proper hiding of surface is achieved) on old painted wooden / steel surfaces with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture including smoothening surface by sand papering, etc. and using approved suitable putty on the surface if necessary to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including cost of all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding to the required safety standard, removal / rearranging the home furniture items, stores, etc. and cleaning the floors splashes etc. all as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 5 | Filling up the internal cracks of more than 1mm width on internal walls / chajjas at all floors / heights and locations using acrylic crack filling compound / sealant manufactured by M/s Sikka, M/s Fosroc, M/s Pidilite, or approved equivalent product including making required V shaped grooves along the crack, preparing the surface, removing all dust and foreign particles, cleaning the surface with brush, sanding with emery paper, applying the sealant as per manufacturer’s specification together with cost of scaffolding, all materials, labour, tools, plants etc. to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 7 | Note-1: General Notes 1.For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 2. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 3. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 4. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc.. 5. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions.
