Drilling 150 mm diameter boreholes up to a maximum depth of 13 m or till refusal, whichever occurs earlier, and conducting Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) with auto trip hammer setup at an intervals of 1.0 m or as directed, in accordance with IS: 2131 / IS: 1892. The item includes mobilization and demobilization of drilling equipment, boring through all kinds of soil strata, use of casing, conducting SPT using standard split-spoon sampler with 65 kg hammer falling freely from 750 mm height, recording N-values, collection and preservation of disturbed soil samples, preparation of bore logs, and submission of complete test reports like grain size analysis on cohensionless soil, LL, PL and NMC on cohesive soil, including closure of the bore holes using sand filling inclusive of all labour, tools, water, and incidentals, all complete as per the directions of Engineer. Note:- Soil report has to be submitted however no recommendations for type of foundation is needed.

Conducting Electrical Cone Penetration Test (ECPT) at specified locations up to the required depth or till refusal, strictly in accordance with relevant IS Code(s)/ BS 1377 PART 9. The item includes mobilization and demobilization of ECPT equipment, deployment of all required manpower, pushing of standard electrical cone at a uniform rate ( 20mm per sec or as per the instruction of EIC) , continuous measurement and recording of cone resistance and sleeve friction, preparation of test logs, graphs, interpretation of results, and submission of complete test reports, including closure of the bore holes using sand filling inclusive of all labor, tools, equipment, consumables, transportation, and incidental charges, all complete as per the directions of the Engineer.
