| 2 | Through packing of track and lifting of track to get sufficient cushion below all type of sleepers including clearing vegetation, aligning, leveling, grading, squaring of sleepers and consolidation, maintaining of gauge, level and alignment, putting back all fittings, boxing of ballast etc. and all associated jobs as per departmental instructions. |
| 3 | Maintaining points and crossings to correct lines and levels by through packing of sleepers, aligning, leveling, squaring of sleepers and lubricating the switch sliding chairs, boxing of ballast, clearing vegetation etc, for the smooth rail traffic movements with all labour charges, tools etc. complete as per departmental instructions. |
| 4 | Lubrication of fishplates after dismantling the plates from both rail joints in a track (two pairs) and refixing by bolting with all labour charges, tools and materials etc. complete. |
| 5 | Labour charges for replacing the existing sleepers with PSC sleepers of standard size supplied by FACT-CD including collecting the same from FACT-CD Stores/site, removing the existing damaged sleepers/fittings from track and returning the removed materials to FACT-CD scrap yard including cost of conveyance, refixing the PSC sleeper in new/old location with necessary removal of earth/ballast in track length, as per railway standards, including putting back the track in service condition. |
| 6 | Labour charges for replacing the Track rails including fishplates, bolts, fittings etc.supplied by FACT –CD including collecting the same from FACT-CD Stores, removing the existing rails and damaged fittings from track and returning the removed materials to FACT-CD scrap yard including cost of conveyance, fixing the new rails and other items in track length as per railway standards including putting back the track in service condition. |
| 7 | Labour charges for replacing the Wooden / CI Pot /ST / CST-9 sleepers with spare sleepers/fixtures supplied by FACT –CD from the railway siding including collecting the same, removing the existing damaged sleepers/fittings from track and returning the removed materials to FACT-CD scrap yard, fixing the spare items in track length as per railway standards including necessary removal /repacking of sand/metal ballast and putting back the track in service condition. |
| 8 | Providing of special skilled Gang man for emergency works / accidents in all shifts with necessary tools. |
| 9 | Drilling new holes to correct size to the rails to suit the fish bolts including chamfering bolt holes etc. under traffic condition and protecting the track etc. complete wherever necessary using Contractor’s labour, machines, consumables etc. |
| 10 | Removing the fish plates (If required) and cutting the rails with hack saw blade / cutting machine truly vertical to the bottom flange at the required length etc. as directed by the Engineer in Charge of the work, using Contractor’s labour, machines, consumables etc. |
| 11 | Oiling and greasing the elastic rail clips and MS inserts after removing the rail clips from inserts and refixing with all materials and labour charges as per departmental instructions. |
| 12 | Taking, conveying and spreading the ballast stacked at railway siding to the track using trolley etc. with a lead up to 2 KM. |
| 13 | Taking out and transporting the rail scrap materials from railway siding and depositing the same at company scrap yard after weighing in company weigh bridge ( The machinery required for the work shall be in the scope of contractor) |
| 14 | Replacing the grooved rubber pads of rails after taking out the damaged pads by lifting the rails and fastening the rails after completion of the work with all labour charges etc. complete. |
| 15 | Providing Man mazdoor for clearing the waste accumulation & other debris from railway tracks especially chute area , clearing grass ,bushes etc from track premises or any other work not included in other items as per departmental instructions. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information |
