Carry out total factory inspection of 3 way RMU to find out all defects/damage parts in each breaker by OEM engineer after unbolting all busbars from insulators/supporters & cleaning/ scrapping deposited salt/ oxide layers. Replacement of burned out parts, checking all straight lengths, supply elements, turning elements, T-connectors & all HT components/switchgears, refilling SF6 gas. Finally applying silica gel on movable/ unmovable parts before closing HT compartments tightening of all connections, checking, control wiring, servicing etc. Performing factory test for each breaker, calibrating Relays, carryout tests by creating artificial faults etc. OEM will submit factory test report of RMU to Engr-in-charge before delivery back to AF Naliya. Bringing back repaired RMU at AF Stn Naliya by suitable transport with all precautions to avoid damage, refixing in its original position, connecting all HT connections, earthing etc & charging all HT cables.
