M&L for Preparing unsurfaced Wet Mix Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc.sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen complete all as specified. Note: Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–10 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam (consolidated thickness75mm or less), with 4.0% binder content by weight of total mix with Paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Mix design shall be carried out through a government lab. In case if weight of bitumen content is more than the specified, no additional payment will be permissible.However, if bitumen content is less than specified, same shall be adjusted as per relevant SSR item of bitumen supplied rate only as applicable including % quoted by the contractor for supply only bitumen rate.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen ofGrade VG–30, complete all as specified.

M&L for Bituminous premixed Semi- dense asphaltic concrete 40mm average consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix with Paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and Hot mix plant, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Mix design shall be carried out through a government lab. In case if weight of bitumen content is more than the specified, no additional payment will be admissible. However,if bitumen content is less than specified, same shall be adjusted as per relevant SSR item as applicable including % quoted by the Contractor for supply only bitumen rate.
