| 1 | NOTE FOR ALL PAINTING AND WATER PROOFING ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the work:-(i) All the painting works and water proofing works shall be got executed through original material manufacturing company and their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submit MOU with the manufacturing company and their authorised applicator alongwith performance guarantee otherwise recovery of Rs 2000.00 per week will be made from the contractors dues from the date of commencement of work.(ii) Submission of MOU will be mandatery requirement before execution of work as the entire work shall be executed with the approved firm only.(iii) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor,glasses and joinery.(iv) The work will be carried out in following steps as appended below:- |
| 2 | Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillers etc complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | M&L for Brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | All as per item no. 2 above but except brick complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Taking down cement or cement lime plaster any description on any walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. Complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 6 | M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on faces of new or old bricks walls or concrete surfaces etc. finished even and fair, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge. |
| 7 | M&L Rendering 12-15mm thick in Ready Mix Mortar on concrete surfaces or brick wall surface and finished even and smooth as a whole or in patch work per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over one coat of alkali resistand primer complete all as specified. |
| 9 | M&L for complete removal of old existing treatment of wall and finished using mechanical dry wall sander machine (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 320 grit or above to completely remove old existing treatment for wall surface and ready to take new surface finishes complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | M&L for applying waterproof cement based putty @0.8 kg(undiluted) per sq mtr of average thickness 1-1.5mm in each coats on old prepared or new plastered surfaces as per srl item No 08 above in the following steps:-(i) Filling cracks in wall using crack seal compound Asian smart care crack seal or equivalent.(ii) Mix the putty powder @ 0.8 kg/sqm by adding 35to40% water by volume or as per approved manufacturer's instruction and mix it with electric putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute upto 5to10 minutes.(iii) Apply the first coat of the prepared mix with the help of fully automatic airless spary machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI with bottom to top configuration and allow 6-8 hrs to dry the putty surface.(iv) Apply the second coat of the prepared mix with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI with horizontal configuration.(v) Allow 6-8 hrs to dry putty surface then prepare the surface by electronic wall sander machine to apply subsequent coats of primer complete all as specified and directed.Note:-Primer shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. |
| 11 | M&L for applying one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade/interior grade primer @0.9ltr (undiluted)/10 sq mtrs diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI on old prepared or new plastered surfaces as per srl item no.09 above. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed. |
| 12 | M&L for applying two coats of anti fungal weather proof grade exterior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint @1.8 ltrs/10sqm(undiluted) or as per approved manufacturer's instruction over old prepared or new plasetered and primed surface of wall up to any height as per srl item No. 10 above. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed.Make:- Apex Ultima Protex Asian paints/Nerolac excel top guard/Berger weather coat long life 10 prepared by item No 2 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 13 | M&L plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type B-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channel and drain finishing the exposed surface of concrete to fair and even complete all as specified and directed. |
| 14 | Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel inner girth up to 55 cm in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. |
| 15 | M&L for providing plain cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4, (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in copings, bed block for embedding hold fasts, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating as directed including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed. |
| 16 | M&L for providing precast cement concrete louvers and jalleis type B0 1:2:4 (12.5 graded aggregate) 25mm thick(measured solid) including all moulding but excluding framework set in cement mortar 1:4 (precast frame shall be measured separately and paid for) complete all as specified and directed. |
| 17 | Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in ground floor and paving complete all as specified and directed. |
| 18 | Dismantling of any type of tiles interlocking tiles, Chequerd tiles or parking tiles etc. Complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 19 | M&L for cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded stone graded stone aggregate) as in sub base for tiling, foundation filling etc. complete all as specified. |
| 20 | M&L for machine pressed colour glossy finished chequered cement concrete tiles of 300x300x25 mm thick set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with gray cement and pigment including 15 mm thick screed bedding layer in cm 1:6 complete all as specified and directed |
| 21 | M&L for machine pressed colour glossy finished precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size conforming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 grade with grey cement & pigment complete all as specified and directed. |
| 22 | All as per Srl item no. 20 above but except tiles |
| 23 | M&L for sand filling under floors as cushion bed for interlocking paver blocks complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. |
| 24 | M&L for light shed or printed matte Finish Heavy duty extrior/parking tiles 10-12mm (square/rectangular), area of each tile n. exc 0.18 sqm in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed. |
| 25 | Dismantling post or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground. complete all as specified and directed. |
| 26 | Taking out old unserviceable barbed wire fancing including making bunddles & removing, any type complete all as specified and directed |
| 27 | Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface complete all as specified and directed. |

| 30 | M&L for preparation of new or old undecorated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint including a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 31 | Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing of size 75 x 75 x 3 or 50x50x3 mm as per ground requirements, sample approved by GE complete all as specified and directed. |
| 32 | Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc including provision of binding wire all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
