| 1 | Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work. |
| 2 | Attending and clearing daily complaints of blockage of WC's (Indian/ European), WHB traps, Kitchen traps, urinal traps etc. at any floor (upto 3rd floor) upto first manhole with and including necessary T&P as required for this purpose , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (a) Complaint slip shall be collected by the contractor/ supervisor from MES complaint cell at Sector 47 Bldg No 401 of AGE B/R-II (AF) Chandigarh at 09:00 Hrs and submit the same duly signed by the occupants by 1630 Hrs in the complaint cell. It will be responsibility of contractor to ensure their attendance & completion of complaints within 24 hours. (b) If any complaint is not resolved within 24 Hrs, recovery @ Rs 500/- per complaint per day will be affected from contractor’s dues. (c) Grating(s) removed during cleaning of blockage will be re-fixed in existing position with white/ grey cement after clearing of blockage from traps. (d) The contractor will ensure cleaning/ clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of No.) within 24 Hrs by deploying additional sewer man/ safaiwala if needed and Nothing extra will be paid on this account.(e) Contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the safety measures required by the sewer man/ safaiwalas during working hours. (f) All the waste material/ sludge shall be disposed off out of MoD land. |
| 3 | Removing of blockage from gully trap, including getting out solid/ liquid/ foreign matter/ mud deposited there to make the sewage waste/ sludge waste flow free up to first manhole and removing the same in a hygienic manner to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Dewatering/ de-sludging of manholes/ GT/ septic tank etc. (any size and depth), de-silting and removing sludge from manholes as in foul conditions and rand removing of sludge to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Dewatering /de-sludging shall be done by suction pump / any mechanical means and disposal by truck mounted trailers to dispose off sludge etc. to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose . |
| 5 | Cleaning of solid/ liquid mud deposited in underground sewage line upto and including 200mm bore of any type between consecutive manholes by super suction machine through connecting manholes over and including complete men ,machine and water as required, removal and refixing of manhole covers and removing of sludge to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 6 | Cleaning of underground sewage line of 150mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching against new pipes with PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates in all situations where cleaning is not possible otherwise including returning , filling and disposal of surplus soil/ debris and removing to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | All as per ser item No 5.00 above but for sewage line of 200mm bore , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for srl 5 & 6:- (a) Excavation & earth filling including disposal of surplus soil ,Haunching ,new pipe shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted against this item. (b) This item shall be executed where cleaning of blockage is not possible by rodding. |
| 8 | Cleaning of underground sewage lines upto 150mm bore by manually including manhole, any depth, taking off & refixing of manhole covers, getting out all foreign matter such as solid/ liquid/ mud etc. and removing the same to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep as in soft/ loose soil and getting out, trimming sides and bottom to required level/ slope, watering and well ramming for foundation etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 10 | Returning filling soft/ loose soil in trenches including spreading, leveling in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, watering and well ramming, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc. 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 metre above the starting point in soils, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 12 | Cutting to existing hard standing/ roads of any description upto 200mm depth and making good to true surface to match the existing surface finish after laying of pipes/ manholes/ GT same to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 13 | Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for the area where unservicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks under item No.13.00 below. |
| 14 | Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius (except bricks) built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for area where servicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of item No.12 and this item shall be used under this item after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks. |
| 15 | Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in sub base ,foundations, filling and mass concrete, in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
