Tack Coat on Bituminous surfaces (Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.)

Bituminous Macadam Grading-II ( 19 mm nominal size ) (Providing and laying bituminous macadam with higher capacity hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction)

Open - Graded Premix Surfacing (Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or cut back or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant HMP, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades.)

Seal Coat (Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A and B seal coats) Case - II : Type B (Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat with HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/ hours using crushed stone chipping 6.7 mm size and penetration bitumen of suitable grade.)

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface (Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.)

Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing Solar Powered Road Studs (Rectangular) of size not less than 100mm x 100 mm x 10 mm or (Circular) of dia 130+/- 6mm and height 30 +/- 2mm (with 8 super bright LEDs for long visibility from distance greater than 800 m) having twin shank and body made of aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material which shall be absolutely weather resistant and strong enough to support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D 4280 and water resistance as per IP 65 in accordance with IS 12063:1987, fixed to the road surface using adhesives and the procedure recommended by the manufacturer as per Clause No. 804.6 and 804.7 of MORTH specifications.
