| 1 | Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area (Non- sprinklers area) by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate as mentioned in specification will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq. m /day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. Cutting plants should be handed over to nursery for sampling by the contractor as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 8. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours. |

| 3 | Supply and spreading of Fertilizer (urea), neem cake including cost of fertilizer and neem cake etc., all as per specification for Orchard plants / trees at the rate of 0.01kg/Sqm for fertilizer and 0.005kg/Sqm of neem cake, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 4 | Collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides / growth regulators in the lawn area and hedges by sprayer etc., including cost of collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides /growth regulators etc., all as per specification. |
| 5 | Operation of water supply pumps including monitoring water levels in UG sump and over head water tanks and regulating water supply by operating isolation valves, assisting lowering of water in UG sump by operating de-water pumps and emptying water from UG Sump to facilitate cleaning operations of sump and tank as and when required, cleaning the pumps, pump room and office area in pump house of IGCAR and keeping the pump house surrounding areas neat and clean as directed by the Engineer. Note: Contractor has to engage minimum of 1 (one) operator (skilled manpower) each in first shift (timing 6:00 hours to 14:00 hours) and Second shift (timing 14:00 hours to 22:00 hours) . And 2 (two) operators (skilled manpower) in third shift timing 22:00 hours to 6:00 hours everyday throughout the year including holidays. If any shortfall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 1 Job/operator/day shall be deducted from the RA bills |
| 6 | Sweeping and Cleaning the road surfaces including water table, road junction & pavement on both sides of roads inside IGCAR area two times in a Month and when and where ever required including collecting upto 200m and stacking swept material for disposal upto 4km and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. Every time cleaning area shall be measured for payment 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 2 numbers of workers daily as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Failure to deploy the minimum number of labour will attract recovery with the minimum wages for every default of labour as mentioned in specification. 3. The rate should also include sweeping tools etc. 4. The contractor shall supply the necessary PPE to the workers. 5. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of sweeping materials to the dumping yard. |
| 7 | Trimming road side tree branches gives hindrance to road side and along the compound wall, including cutting, collecting and disposing the trimmed branches at places shown by departmental Engineer (In IGCAR Plant site fallen trees shall be disposed to the disposal yard through the CTS gate) with all lead complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes of tree branches. |
