| 1 | Material and labour for servicing of DG set 20 KVA to 140 KVA by draining out engine oil including cleaning the oil sump, removal of sludge, dirt and contaminants make ready to refilling with fresh engine oil, removing oil filter, replace with new one, clean fuel feed pump, replace primary and secondary fuel filter along with Redi-wash 'O'-Ring, replace paper type air filter and safety cartridge, replace air cleaner oil bath type, check alignment of exhaust system, check belt tension and tighten or loosen belt tension as per requirement, blow compressed air with the help of blower on radiator fan to clean it and draining out coolant, descaling the radiator internally and externally by using chemical, including soldering the copper tubes and tank etc for making radiator leakage proof, check all the clips and tighten if required, clean battery terminals with cotton cloth, apply acid proof grease or petroleum jelly on battery terminals, check electrolyte level of battery and top up distilled water if electrolyte level is low (distilled water also check time to time during currency of work and top up), check electrical connection of starter and tighten if required check belt tension on charging alternator and adjust if required. Check output voltage of charging alternator. Tighten all the foundation nuts and bolts if required, check LLOP and HWT with multimeter, check stopper and adjust tightness of link wire if required, check tightness of wiring connection and adjust accordingly, remove RWL clean it check with multimeter and refit it, clean body of generator from inside and outside properly and battery charger input & output properly and tightening of wiring if required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note (i) The cost of spare parts for replacement mentioned above, tools & plants (T&P), Cleaning Clothes, distilled water, alignment, testing required for satisfactory performance but except Engine oil shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(ii) The cost of any other minor spare parts which is essential but not mentioned above as per decision of GE shall also deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.shall be measured separately.(iii) Engine oil, coolant, LLOP and HWT shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply and filling/supply and fixing. |

| 3 | Material and labour for repair and calibration of DG set governor mechanism as per calibration procedure and norms for 20 KVA to 140 KVA DG set installation and testing of the same after completion complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Material and labour for repair and calibration of FIP, fuel injectors including replacement of barrel plunger and cup 'O' rings along with Plunger Spring, Roller bearing, element, Delivery valve, Fuel injector nozzle element for 20 KVA to 140 KVA DG Set and testing of the same after completion complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |

| 13 | Material and labour for servicing, overhauling and repair of 24 Volts DC self-starter, including replacement of worn-out or defective components such as plunger, bushes, armature, gear and pinion assembly, field coil, magnetic switch coil, bearings, brushes and other associated parts as necessary, dismantling, cleaning, reassembling, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:(i) The repaired self-starter shall be tested under working conditions and shall operate satisfactorily before acceptance by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 14 | Material and labour for servicing, overhauling and repair of 12 Volts DC self-starter, including replacement of worn-out or defective components such as plunger, bushes, armature, gear and pinion assembly, field coil, magnetic switch coil, bearings, brushes and other associated parts as necessary, dismantling, cleaning, reassembling, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:(i) The repaired self-starter shall be tested under working conditions and shall operate satisfactorily before acceptance by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 15 | Supply and filling approved grade engine coolant for radiator to the required level after servicing of DG set under the relevant BOQ item heretofore, including topping up of engine coolant as and when required during the currency of the contract, checking for leakage, maintaining the coolant level within the manufacturer's prescribed limits and carrying out necessary operational testing, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:(i) Measurement for payment shall be made on the basis of the actual quantity of fresh engine coolant supplied and filled, expressed in litres.(ii) No extra payment shall be admissible for topping up carried out during the currency of the contract other than the measured quantity of engine coolant actually supplied and filled.(iii)) Coolant shall be supplied only in the manufacturer's original sealed containers/bottles of approved make and grade in standard packing size available from the manufacturer. The sealed containers shall be produced for verification before use, and empty containers shall be handed over to the Engineer-in-Charge or his representative for record, if so directed. |
| 16 | Supply and filling approved grade engine oil SAE 20W-40 in the engine crankcase/oil sump to the required level after servicing of DG set under the relevant BOQ item heretofore, including topping up of engine oil as and when required during the currency of the contract, checking for leakage, maintaining the oil level within the manufacturer's prescribed limits and carrying out necessary operational testing, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:(i) Measurement for payment shall be made on the basis of the actual quantity of fresh engine oil supplied and filled, expressed in litres.(ii) No extra payment shall be admissible for topping up carried out during the currency of the contract other than the measured quantity of engine oil actually supplied and filled.(iii)) Engine oil shall be supplied only in the manufacturer's original sealed containers of approved make and grade. The capacity of the container shall be as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and may be 1 litre, 2 litres, 3 litres, 5 litres or any other standard packing size available from the manufacturer. The sealed containers shall be produced for verification before use, and empty containers shall be handed over to the Engineer-in-Charge or his representative for record, if so directed. |

| 18 | Material and labour for providing and fixingin replacement Solenoid Stopper Coil, 12 Volts DC operated, suitable for the existing engine/equipment, complete with connecting leads, terminals, fixing clamps, mounting hardware and all associated accessories, including disconnecting and removing the defective coil, making necessary electrical connections, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 22 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Engine Controller in replacement of existing unserviceable controller, suitable for DG set operation, complete with all necessary accessories, wiring connections, programming and calibration of AMF control wiring. The controller shall be capable of operation in Auto, Semi-Auto, Manual, Test and Off modes and shall incorporate protections for phase failure, under/over voltage, under/over frequency, over current, short circuit, phase reversal and phase unbalance. The controller shall have provision for sensor data selection ON/OFF, single phase/three phase selection, display of electrical parameters, DG set running parameters including kW, kWh, engine run time and rest time, along with fault indications, alarms and event monitoring. The work shall include disconnecting and removing the existing controller, making all electrical/mechanical connections, carrying out functional checks, simulation of AMF operation, safety interlocks, load transfer tests and operational testing of the DG set under all modes of operation, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note :- The AMF controller shall be compatible with the existing alternator, engine sensors, actuators and control circuitry of the DG set and contractor shall be submit manufacturer's test certificate, operating manual and warranty documents. |
