Rebound Hammer Test -Preparing the surface of RCC structural members such as beams, columns, slabs etc. by chipping off the plastered s urface/finishin g/cladding to expose the concrete, and followed by smoothening the surface using carborumdum stone in accordance with relevant IS codes. The task shall involve adequate manpower, technical personnel, and necessary tools. A rebound hammer test shall then be conducted as per IS $16 (Part 5/Section 4):2020 in the presence of GEC officials., with all readings properly recorded. Upon completion, the area shall be thoroughly cleaned.

UPV (Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity) Test-Preparing the surface of RCC structural members such as beams, columns, slabs etc. by chipping off the plastered s urface/finishin g/cladding to expose the concrete, and followed by smoothening the surface using carborundum stone in accordance with relevant IS codes. The task shall involve adequate manpower, technical personnel, and necessary tools and coupling agents.Carry out UPV (Ultra sonic pulse velocity test) in accordance with IS 516 Part-5 Section 1/2018 by portable ultrasonic non-destructive test equipment test (Valid Calibration Certificate Required) in the presence of GEC officials, with all readings properly recorded.Upon completion, the area shall be thoroughly cleaned.

Core Test - Deciding the location by using scanning of the concrete surface using a reinforcement locator such as Hilti PS 300 or equivalent, to accurately identify embedded reinforcement and mark safe zones for core extraction. After confirmation, core cutting shall be carried out through RCC members (e.g. slab, beam, or wall) of the specified diameter using a diamond core cutting machine with water cooling, in such a manner as to minimize disturbance to reinforcement and maintain structural integrity. Concrete cores shall be finished, capped, and prepared on both faces in accordance with IS $16 (Part 1/Sec I): 2018 and IS 1199: 2018 for compressive strength testing. Properly labelled and handed over to the GEC-approved laboratory for further testing and documentation.
