| 5 | Scaffolding System: Providing and fixing of double scaffolding system(cup lock type) upto 20 meters height made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup 8k lock system with M.S. tube, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required locations with essential safety features for the workman etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-incharge. The elavational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.Note: The above item is not an extra item for item 2 & 3. The scope of work is for operational/fire related maintenance work. All the required arrangements have to arranged by the contractor i.e. scafolding, equipment, tools etc. The operators should have NDT level-II valid certificate as per specification. All inspection / test shall be done as per instruction of EIC and all necessary documents to be submitted by the contractor. Liquid penetrate examination / Dye penetration testing and acceptance criteria shall be as per liquid dye penetration test as per ASTM- E 165-95.The work is to be carried out as per drawings, codes, specifications and direction of EIC. |
| 11 | Supply, fabrication and welding of M.S.PIates as per IS: IS-2062 Gr-B after inspection of the tank EIC will inform to agency regarding the thickness wise plate requirement. Based on that agency has to supply the plates. The rates shall include all costs for supply, transportation, loading unloading taxes & duties what so ever is applicable till supplying the plates inside installation. Payment will be made by ONGC only for the actual quantity of plates used in the tank repair, and as per direction of EIC. Metallic scrap etc. to be lifted. The contractor shall supply mild steel (MS) plates as per IS2062 Gr-B and stack in side the tank dyke wall and as per direction of EIC. The contractor has to take all necessary action for purchase, loading transportation, unloading in side tank dyke wall at installation unloading inside installation, MS plates shall be as per suggested vender list/make specified in scope of work. Fabrication & erection and welding of plates for bottom, shell cum roof/floating roof, reinforcing pads, for the tank, tank appurtenances etc. Providing test such as vacuum test DP test pneumatic test, oil perpetration examination radiography test, any other test as applicableas per latest standards code and instruction of EIC.
