| 1 | Total of Subhead- A, B & C Contract-CPM-9/D-1 :Cutting and Transplantation of trees from proposed Locations from Bawana industrial area 1,2 station(excl.) to Delhi-Haryana border for the Rithala-Kundli corridor of Phase-IV of Delhi MRTS. Bill of Quantities PREAMBLE 1. The Bill of Quantities shall be read in conjunction with Instructions to tenderers, General and Special Conditions of Contract, Notice Inviting Tender, all Employer's requirements including appendices, Conditions of contract on Safety & Health and Environment. 2. The Subhead-A contains items of ‘Tree cutting & Transplantation. The transplantation and cutting work shall be undertaken as per Tree Transplantation Policy 2020. The payment against this head will be made on the basis of quantities executed, measured & certified. 3. The Subhead-B contains items of ' Tree Transportation (Extra lead beyond 1.5 km)'. The basis of payment will be the actual quantities of work ordered and carried out, as measured by the Contractor and verified by the Engineer. The rate is inclusive of all tolls, taxes, duties, levies etc. 4. The Subhead-C contains items of 'Traffic Signages, Manpower'. The payment against this head will be made on the basis of quantities executed, measured & certified. 5. The total sum of Subhead-A, Subhead-B and Subhead-C shall be quoted as percentage above/below/At-par to the Estimate rates in BOQ. The quoted rates are for completed and finished items of work and complete in all respect. It will be deemed to include cost of all plants, labour, supervision, materials, scaffolding for masonary works & any work etc., utility identification, survey, all other works mentioned in Employers Requirements including appendices, condition of contract on Safety & Health and Environment, contractor’s profit and establishment/overheads, all general risks, insurance liabilities, compliance of labour laws and obligations set out or implied in the contract. 6. For taxes and duties, refer clause 11.1.1 of General Condition of Contract and C2.6 of ITT. 7. If the tenderer fails to quote rates against any item, the tender will be treated as incomplete and non-responsive and shall be rejected. 8. All the unit rates and amounts should be filled in figures and words. In case of descrepancy in the two, the value provided in figures shall be treated as sacrosanct. 9. The Volume-4 BOQ (Pricing Document) must be submitted and duly signed by the same person who is authorized as per the submitted Power of Attorney (POA). 10. The schedule of Payment/Specified in above subheads against the BOQ items in subhead 'A', 'B' and 'C' would be paid on measurement basis. 11. The payment under the payment schedule will cover all works specified in the scope of work. The schedule of payment will not get modified due to alterations of any type so for as the modification / alterations are within the scope of work .The decision of the Engineer, in this regard, shall be final and binding. 12. The Contractor may raise their 'On Account' payments on monthly basis as per the status of work on the last day of the respective month. 13. Tree cutting/transplantation items shall be carried out with prior approval of forest authorities. Tree transplantation shall be carried out as per Tree Transplantation Policy 2020 of Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. 14. Minor Deviation: Price of Minor Deviation if any shall be submitted in Annexure-3A. This shall be dealts as E5.6 of ITT 15. General directions and descriptions of works and materials are not necessarily repeated, nor summarised in the price schedules.
