| 2 | Earth work in excavation of any approved type of soil in approved borrow area free from logs, stumps, roots or any other ingredients likely to deteriorate or effect the stability of bed, bank by mechanical means and loading into & transportation by mechanical means and unloading soil with all leads on properly prepared & scientifically approved surface, spreading & leveling the earth in 22.5 cm layers to make the fill ready for watering and compaction under OMC condition comes to 95 % of dry density with PRR or any approved type of equipment approved by Engineer in charge for filling section, in canal banks / river embankments of all heights and including cost of all materials, cess, taxes, royalty, T&P, cost of quality control tests, mobilization & demobilization, supplying, operation, maintenance of all machineries, equipments, materials and labour required for the work including supervision charges, cost of cutting and trimming the extra fill in the slopes of the embankment to design section, construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul roads, borrow areas and cost of related diversion arrangement for diversion of flow during working seasons and removal and disposal of the same after completion of the work but execulding GST etc. complete as per design, drawing, and specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. | 3 | Watering earthwork upto OMC condition and compaction by Vibro roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all the machineries including cost, conveyence and taxes, all incidental charges & cess etc. but excluding GST and complete the work in all respects as per drawing, design,specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement to be taken on finished level section) |
| 4 | Earth work excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil including hard and gravelly, soil including clearing & removal of shrub jungles uprooting stumps and small bushes below 1 meter girth with all leads, lifts and delifts & dewatering if required including dressing and leveling the bed and breaking clods to max. 5cm to 7cm and depositing the excavated materials and away from the work site including shoring and shuttering, propping bullah, piling with all labour charges, all taxes, cess T&P all lead, lift, delifts, rehandling etc complete, but excluding GST and complete the work in all respect as per drawing design and specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 5 | Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetments and abutment with hard granite broken stone 15 cm to 30 cm size free from weathered skin and deleterious materials of approved quality and texture from approved quarry including filling the interstices with quarried broken spills including cost, conveyance & royality, cess, all incidental charges, taxes of all materials, all labour charges, T&P etc. but excluding GST and complete the work in all respects as per drawing, design,specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 6 | Providing dry rubble rock toe with quarried and blasted hard granite stones of 30cm and above from approved quarry free from weathered skin and any other deleterious materials including dumping on slopes, filling interstices with small stones and wedged and packing surface to proper line and level including fixing wave breaker etc. complete with all leads, lifts & delifts including cost, conveyance and royalty, taxes of all materials quality control charges & cess etc.but excluding GST and complete the work in all respects as per drawing, design,specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
