| 1 | Disconnecting all the electrical connections from H.T. and L.T. side of unserviceable transformer of capacity upto and including 1000 KVA i.e. Jumpers/cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformers including taking down carefully, loading, unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle from substation to the repairing workshop & transportation from workshop to same substation or any other substation / including reinstallation, commissioning and testing after repair /servicing complete all as specified and directed Note : Loading/unloading of transformer shall be the responsibility of the contractor at their own arrangement. |
| 2 | Opening the transformer cover of capacity upto & including 1000 KVA along with connected accessories, the conservator by removing the nuts bolts then after removing the internal H.T & L.T connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, removing out burnt HV and LV windings from the core assembly, cleaning of core assembly with CTC including necessary repairs for the unserviceable transformers having ratio 11 / 0.433 KV, draining & decanting of burnt transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC/thinner for the transformers. Rewinding of HV and LV coils with suitable size super enamelled copper wire/ strip (As Existing) having suitable class insulation material. Reconditioning of LT coil of aluminium/copper wound transformer by turning the old paper insulations, straightening the entire LT strip providing new paper insulations of superior quality and making coil of suitable design as original . Heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and removing all the moisture present in it, repair of leakage of tank if any by welding, refilling transformer oil to tank after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling and making the internal H.T & L.T connections by fixing the studs, bushing, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Items required for repairs including copper wire/strip required for rewinding of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.(ii) Repair of the transformer will be carried out at auth workshop. GE/ AGE E/M will visit to workshop before repair of transformer and certificate of auth workshop shall be submitted by the contractor.(iii) Unserviceable items required for repairs shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 60 KV either new or filtered and dehydrated by machine shall be filled and measured and paid separetely under respective item. |
| 3 | (iv) Faulty transformer should be checked at site in all aspects related to faults and oil shall be taken out by contractor at site and transformer shall be opened & tested for any fault at site, if rewinding is confirmed to be carried out, the core of transformer alongwith body shall be handed over to contractor without winding as the same has to be deposited to in the MES and transfomer to be send at worksop in presence of MES rep. During rewinding of core on completion the same may be notified to MES/ Engr-in-Charge to cross check the winding weight and quality of work. After completion of repair/ rewinding, necessary testing of transformer shall be carried out at workshop in presence of MES rep. Then only transformer shall be placed on site for utilization. Retrieved unserviceable winding shall be only handed over to contractor after placing of transformer at site with full load test.(v) All the transport charges including hiring of manpower/T&P for checking/testing for reparing/ rewinding of transformer shall be measured in Item No 01 here-in-above as one quantity only.(vi) In case of delay of more than a week from date of informed/site handed over to contractor of repair/ rewinding alongwith necessary checking/testing of tranformer, Rs 500/- per day shall be recovered as penalty from RAR/Final Bill(vii) During repairing period of faulty transformer, standy transformer from contractor's end of same capacity should be placed at site against faulty tranformer\\". |

Detection of fault in one span of length will be measured as Each Job.2. Technicians will be employed by the contractor.3. Earth work and taking out will be measured and paid seperately.4. Material for repair and replacement will be measured and paid saperately.5. One job shall be measured if the fault has successfully rectified by the fault locator machine and Technician. 6. HT fault should be trace and done within 48 hours if not done recovery of Rs. 2000/per day shall be made from Contractors RAR/ Final bill. |
