| 7 | M & L for applying tack coat on existing bituminous, cement concrete or primed granular surface to ensure a bond between the surface being paved and the overlaying course with catonic bituminus emulsion RS-1 grade at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 8 | M&L for premix bituminous macadam n.exc 75mm thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (Paving bitumen VG 30 grade) content by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller completeall as specified and as directed.Note:- The minimum bitumen content shall be 4% of total mix. However, no price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 4% after design mix. |
| 9 | M & L for semi dense bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG 30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(ii) The minimum bitumen content is 5.5%of total mix. No price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 5.5% after design mix. |
| 10 | M&L for preparing biuminious surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stops lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS- 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Supply and fixing in repair road studs reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm X 100mm X 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 of Dark Eye or equivalent fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers insturction and as directed. |
| 12 | Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm X 125mm X 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battey (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super brigh LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufacturers instructions etc. all as specified and directed.
