| 1 | Earthwork in excavation in all types of stratas comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravel, moorum of all varities, shingles, pebbles all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/Shuttered / decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials described under Appendix-A to those specifications either in full or in parts as the case may be, adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted, inclusive of chiselling/wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged foul conditions etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge etc. All complete in foundation, pipeline trenches, drains not exceeding 1.50 mts. width 10 sq.m. on plan including dressing of sides ramming of bottoms including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus soil for all leads & lifts including providing barricading, danger lighting, guarding as directed by the departmental officer. |
