The scope of work includes the supply of high-tensile, heavily galvanized barbed wire conforming to relevant Indian Standards (IS:278). The wire shall be tightly and uniformly wrapped/wound around the steel tubular or PCC poles starting at a height of 2.5 meters above the ground level up to a vertical span of 1.0 meter (or as per approved drawing) to prevent unauthorized climbing. The scope of work includes the layout and erection of structural guarding frameworks at all mandatory cross-over points such as public road crossings, telecommunication line crossings, and residential corridors. The work includes fabricating and mounting specialized guarding cross-arms/lacings on line supports, uncoiling, straightening, paying out, tensioning, and robust binding/clamping of the longitudinal and lacing wires to form a secure protective mesh.
