The unit shall be of the recirculating, vertical unidirectional airflow type, designed for ceiling suspension with a heavy-duty SS 304 Grade (minimum 1.2 mm) structural hanging framework with mirror-polished finish as per site requirement.The scope of work and per-unit costing shall include the SITC of the accessories listed below; quantities of accessories per unit shall be determined in accordance with standard design requirement: Double-width double-inlet (DIDW) forward-curved centrifugal blower. The pre-filtration stage shall consist of a 5-micron EU5-grade pre-filter. The terminal HEPA filter shall be H14 Grade as per EN 1822. LED lamp shall be provided with minimum ≥500 LUX at work surface, The control panel enclosure shall be fabricated from SS 304 Grade, minimum 1.5 mm thick sheet, 240 grit electropolished finish with a satin matt surface, IP54 rated or better, with all edges and corners radiused for cleanability. The panel shall house and integrate the following functional elements: The unit shall be fitted with magnehelic differential pressure gauges for HEPA filter range 0–500 Pa—with high and low pressure alarm indication and visual/audio alert for filter choke, all inclusive of pnenumatic tubing. A Feather-touch ON/OFF switch panel with HMI-type controls for blower, . A Poly Alpha Olefin (PAO) upstream test port shall be provided for HEPA filter integrity testing. Atmospheric pressure port shall also be provided. Air velocity sensing device shall be provided with display on control panel, Speed controller for blower motor shall be of solid-state type. Blower failure visual and audio alarm indication shall be provided. An emergency stop switch (mushroom-head, lockable, IP55) shall be incorporated. The interconnecting pipe between CLAF and control panel shall be of SS304, Electrical supply shall be 230V, 1 Phase, 50 Hz with MCB protection. Hanging arrangement shall be designed for safe working load with minimum 4 suspension points and shall be approved structurally. All works shall include mechanical fixing, electrical connections to existing DB, pneumatic tube connections for gauges, levelling and alignment. Testing and commissioning shall include installed HEPA filter integrity test, non-viable particle count, airflow velocity uniformity and pattern test, pressure drop verification across each filter stage, lux level measurement, sound level measurement. The units shall be powered up and checked for correct direction of rotation and absence of abnormal noise or vibration. Testing shall be carried out as per ISO 14644-3 and WHO GMP guidelines. The testing programme shall include: (a) HEPA filter integrity (b) Non-viable particle count at the working zone (c) Air velocity measurement at defined grid points on the HEPA face (d) Airflow pattern visualisation by smoke test (e) Pressure drop measurement across HEPA and pre-filter using magnehelic gauges; (f) Recovery test (if applicable) to Grade A at rest; (g) Lux level measurement at the working plane (minimum 500 LUX); (h) UV light intensity measurement ; (i) Functional test of all alarms (high/low pressure, blower failure), interlocks, emergency stop, and feather-touch switches. Any deficiencies or non-conformances identified during testing shall be reported and rectified before validation acceptance.
