PumpSupply, erection, testing, and commissioning of KWA pre-qualified reputed make submersible pump and motor set of suitable capacity to deliver a discharge of 5 LPS against a total head of 40 Mtr, conforming to IS 8034/2021 (latest revision) for submersible pumps. The pump shall have bronze or stainless steel impellers, SS shaft, and CI/SS casing, with all components adequately protected against corrosion and suitable for continuous operation under the specified head and discharge. The pump and motor shall be directly coupled, designed for submerged installation, and suitable for operation on three-phase, 50 Hz, 415 V AC supply. The supply shall include all accessories required for the complete installation of the submersible unit such as delivery head assembly, delivery bends, base clamp, lifting arrangement, cable guard, non-return valve, sluice valve, and strainer as applicable.2. MotorSupply, erection, testing, and commissioning of KWA pre-qualified reputed make submersible motor, suitable for driving the above pump set. The motor shall be water-lubricated, rewindable type, with stainless steel shaft and CI or SS housing, suitable for the rated head and discharge, and for operation on 3 phases, 415 V, 50 Hz AC supply. The motor shall conform to IS 9283 (latest revision) and shall include all necessary accessories such as submersible cable up to the control panel and cable jointing materials.3. StarterStarter Supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a suitably rated, fully automatic star delta starter with air brake contactor. The starter shall be suitable for the above motor and shall include Over-voltage and under-voltage protection, Single-phase preventer, Overload protection, Phase unbalance protection, Motor protection relay all protections shall conform to IE rules and standard codes of practice. 4. Control Panel BoardSupply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a cubical-type, wall-mounted, MS fabricated, dust- and vermin-proof control panel. The panel shall include: 1 No. 100A, 35kA MCCB (Incomer) , 2 Nos. 63A, 35kA MCCBs (Outgoing), Appropriately sized aluminum bus bars for interconnection, 3 Nos. indicator lamps, 1 No. voltmeter with selector switch, 1 No. ammeter with selector switch The panel shall be equipped with a common earthling bus connected to all MCCBs in compliance with IE standards. It shall be mounted on a common base frame on a suitable foundation. 5. Cabling WorkSupply, laying, testing, and commissioning of suitable size copper cables from the control panel to the starter and from the starter to the motor, considering energy efficiency and system load requirements. 6. Earthing Supply of all materials and provision of double earthing for the motor, starter, and panel board. Earthing shall be done using suitable pipe/plate-type earthing and GI/copper strips buried in the ground, strictly conforming to IE standards. 7. Capacitor Supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of an ultra-heavy-duty APP capacitor for power factor correction. The capacitor shall ensure a power factor above 0.95 and comply with IS 2834 standards. 8. Valves Supply of high-quality, heavy-duty, ISI-marked PN 1.6 CI double-flanged sluice and non-return valves of suitable size. Installation shall include RCC support, especially for the non-return valves. 9. Pressure Gauge Supply and installation of a suitable pressure gauge with control valve. 10. Suction and Delivery Pipe Connections Supply and fitting of suitable size, high-quality GI/MS pipe with a shell thickness of not less than 8 mm for a total length of 15 meters. The pipe shall be compatible with the pump set and include all necessary flanges, nuts, bolts, IR sheets, etc., for proper connection to both suction and delivery sides Scope includes, Connection of suction pipe and valves, Delivery pipe with valves and specials for connection to the pumping main, Civil works including of Foundation with bolts in CC 1:1.5:3 using 20 mm metal, Plastering, Provision of cement and steel. All incidental works for satisfactory completion 11. Documentation and Power Allocation Preparation of all necessary documents and submission to KSEB through a licensed electrician for obtaining power allocation to operate the pump sets. This includes all expenses related to document preparation and submission, excluding KSEB's power allocation charges. 12. Erection and Trial Run Erection of the motor and pump with MS base plates and copper strips, as per relevant IS standards and IE rules. The system shall be commissioned with a trial run ensuring no interruption to the existing pumping arrangements. 13. Warranty A comprehensive warranty of five (5) years shall be provided for the pump set, motor, and associated components. \\"Although the initial design has been prepared by this office, the contractor is advised to review and, if necessary, redesign the system and obtain approval from the competent authorities before execution.\\" |
