| 6 | (iii) Alternator (a) Continous operation rated at 1500 rpm, 415V,.80 PF, 50.00Hz Ph in SPDP enclosure, self -excited, self -regulated Brush less, floor mounted asper IS:4722.BS EN 60034-1 & suitable for tropical condition.(b) Specially designed sound attenuators are provided to control sound at air entry & exit points inside the enclosure.(c)The walls of enclosure are insulated with the fire-retardant &(f) In-build draw in type fuel tank.(g)The walls of enclosure are insulated with the fire-retardant & noise absorbent foam/Rockwool so as to comply with the noise level of 75dB (A) at distance of 1 mtr, in open free field envirement as per ISO 8528 part 10 specified by ministry of Envirement & Forest. |
| 7 | (iv) Batteries :- Maintenece free suitable batteries of 12 /24 Volt complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolite complete as recommended by OEM. |

Which gives better accuracy in decreasing the speed drop in transient and lowering the recovery time of the speed.(c) Confirms to statutory Govt. (b) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown)(c) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency (Alarm & shut down)(d) Relay drivers for remote annuciations(e) Cyclic cranking(f) Auto/manual start/ stop(g) Alternator trim adjustment from the front key pad(h) Operates within a temperature range 0- 60 degrees C and humidity upto 95%.(j) Remote monitoring capabilty through separate interface modules.(k) Genset metering parameters like lube oil pressure, coolant temperature, engine speed(rpm), run hours, DC voltage, intake manifold temperature, 3 phase volts and 3 phase amperes, frequency, KW, KVA, power factor etc. |

| 11 | Material and labour for disconnecting all electical, earthing connection etc of existing 2xDG set of any capacity and shifting the same from existing location to E/M store yard complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Cost of all T&P required shall be included in the rate quoted by contractor. |
| 12 | Material and labour excavation in trenches exc 1.5 mtr width & n.exc 1.5 mtr in depth for laying U/G cable including getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. . |
| 13 | Material and labour for returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 CM all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 14 | Material and labour for removing excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 15 | Material and labour for supply and spread of fine dry river sand for cable cushioning in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Punned thickness of 18cm shall only be measured for per cum. |

| 18 | Supply, laying and testing of XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade, of size 3.5 core, 120 Sqmm complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 19 | Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 25x4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 20 | Note:- (i) Any fittings/fixtures which are necessary for proper functioning of the DG set shall also be deemed include in the unit rate quoted and shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt.(ii) Necessary foundation for installation of DG set shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations and cost deemed to be inclusive in the rate quoted for this items. (iii) All testing equipments ae to be arranged by the contractor and testing shall be carried out by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-Charge and testing result duly signed by the Engr-in-Charge and the contractor shall be kept in record. (iv) Rate quoted by the contractor including the rate of first filling of lubricating oil, coolent and duct with wooden cover from DG set to AMF panel. AMF panel must be outside the canopy. (v) Drawings/cataloged for DG set and AMF panel got approved by the GE before ordering to the manufacturer. |
