| 5 | Providing and fixing factory-made wet cast high strength precast reinforced cement concrete box drain of Width X Height as per BOQ. Box Drain shall be steam cured in a controlled environment and manufactured by using high performance self compacting concrete of M- 50 grade using Fe 500 D grade TMT steel reinforcement bar. The Manhole opening at every 30 meter c/c shall be made by keeping as suitable clear opening of 600x600 mm in precast drain and the M.H. shaft shall be precast based on actual size requirement and Precast M.H. of size 800x 800 x 1600 and 800x 800 x 1100 or as per site requirement with all necessary arrangement of steps as per standard specification of Haryana PWD, schedule of rates 2023.The precast box drain and M.H. shall consist of special in-built inserts at appropriate location for safer and faster installation. Design should confirm to IRC/BIS standards/ Guidelines/Codes furthermore taking into consideration expected handling and erection stresses etc. Rubber gasket required to ensure water-tight character and for jointing of each segment flange bolts with zinc coating and round washer or equivalent nut-bolt connection will be supplied as part of the box drain. Any international guideline such as Japan and EURO codes may be followed in case of any gap in IRC/BIS standard and guideline. The design of the box drain and M.H. dully vetted from Institute of IIT/NIT . The precast drain should be designed considering super imposed dead load, live load including dynamic impact, tractive and braking forces and earth pressure as per IRC:6-2017. Class AA loading or Class 70R Load live load should be considered (whichever is higher) for design. Box drain shall have inter-locking plug-socket arrangement. Precast manufacturer shall be certified for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The precast factory should have its own NABL approved QA-QC laboratory within plant premises to ensure daily testing of precast products. Product shall be manufactured using RO water for durability criteria. Reinforcement cage shall be fabricated with automated cage making unit within plant premises having necessary machines like cutting and bending for getting consistent rebar production. Final product testing laboratory to test load carrying capacity. The work executing as per the direction of Engineer In-charge of suitable height as per site requirement.
