| 8 | M&L for plate earthing complete with copper plate electrode 60cm×60cm ×3.15mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of clear coal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15cm on all sides and incl copper earth strip 32 x 6 mm bolted (with nuts, bolts & check nuts) and revetted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of equipments etc (upto 7.5 mtr), earth strip encased in and including 40 mm bore GI medium grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate to body of equipment fixed with and including flat iron clamps,bolts, nuts and washer and also including 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth plate to ground level for watering complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12mm graded crushed stone aggregate and RCC cover, funnel, wire mesh including necessary excavation & earth work, etc as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed. |
