| 5 | Taking out old U/S cast iron (CI)/DI/MS water mains of size 350 mm bore (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends/threaded socket end and lead joints, flange ends, socketed/threaded ends joint from above/under ground, under road, path, culvert,under PCC platform or any type of muddy/dry soil etc and making good to match the existing surface of any type and size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges. |
| 6 | Excavation in trenches by using man power not exc 1.5m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out for laying of pipes etc in soft/loose soil .Note:- Any damage to existing services to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges. |
| 7 | Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil upto the satisfaction of Highway authorities and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges. |
| 8 | Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr where directed and at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges. |
| 9 | M & L for road cutting and repairing the same with road patch material width upto 1.0 mtr and depth up to 2.0 meter complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges.Note: Road repair work shall be completed the same day of work execution in all aspect, failing which a panelty of Rs 200 per meter for per hour delay will be imposed and deducted from RAR/Final Bill. |
| 10 | M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in support of pipes or foundation of pump complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges. |
| 11 | Material and labour for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) under National highway including 600 mm end to end welded MS Pipe of 10 mm thickness for casing in a depth of minimum 1.5 meter from road surface for laying 350 mm DI pipes for road crossing at the location decided by the department without demaging exisiting services. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges. Note: (1) Contractor shall cordinate with Highway Authority before drilling .( 2 ) Contractor shall rectify any damage of existing services at his own cost .( 3 ) Contractor shall arrnage contigency plans for accidents and emergency.( 4 ) The entry and exit points of drilling must be filled as per the specification of Highway authority.( 5 ) Any damage to the road should be rectified by the contractor at his own cost as per existing.( 6 ) Road repair work shall be completed the same day of work execution in all aspect, failing which a panelty of Rs 1000 per meter for per hour delay will be imposed and deducted from RAR/Final Bill. |
| 12 | M&L for construction of valve chamber with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, PCC block 20 cm thick wall massonary built in cement mortar 1:6 with plastering of 10mm thickness in cm (1:4) internally and 15mm thickness in cm (1:6) externally above and below ground level with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate incl frame made of angles iron of size matches with the internal size of the valve chamber and chamber cover made of MS sheet of 3.0mm thickness incl MS hinge and painting the steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl necessary earth work, excavation etc of size 2500 x 2200 x 1500mm. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges.
