| 1 | Servicing/ Periodical maintenance of following capacity DG Set of any make consisting of complete servicing and checking entire system as per manufacturer's catalogue including testing complete with replacing of minor consumable items like grease, nut bolts etc during conducting periodic servicing as per the manufacturer's recommendation at the time of routine monthly checks. Capacity 05 to 15 KVA DG Set - Location :- Immols (East)/Power House /IMH area & MGR- 04 No Maintenance Schedule of DG Sets :- The contractor shall carried out following activity during the period of contract :- |
| 2 | (a) Daily maintenance of DG Sets to be carried out :- |
| 3 | (i) Clean the external surface of the DG set. |
| 4 | (ii) Check engine oil level. |
| 5 | (iii) Check engine coolant level. |
| 6 | (iv) Check fuel in the tank. |
| 7 | (v) Check all nuts and bolts. |
| 8 | (vi) Check tension of fan belts. |
| 9 | (vii) Check batteries and battery connections. |
| 10 | (viii) Check fuel lines and fuel tank. |
| 11 | (b) Weekly maintenance of AMF Panels :- |
| 12 | (i) Checking all electrical connections. |
| 13 | (ii) Checking all contact points/ Bus bars. |
| 14 | (iii) Checking timers (AC/ DC). |
| 15 | (iv) Checking all selector switches (voltmeter and Ammeter). |
| 16 | (v) Check RPM, Voltage, Amps and Hz. |
| 17 | (vi) Checking indicator lamps. |
| 18 | (vii) Checking main auxiliary contacts and relays. |
| 19 | (viii) Checking contact coils. |
| 20 | (ix) Checking, volt/ amps/ energy/ PF/ KWH meters/ CT's. |
| 21 | (x) Checking auto/ manual functions. |
| 22 | (xi) Check and tight screws and bolts. |
| 23 | (xii) Check battery charger output voltage. |
| 24 | (xiii) Cleaning the panel. |
| 25 | (xiv) Checking all MCCB's and fuses. |
| 26 | (xv) Checking alarms and hooter. |
| 27 | (c) Monthly maintenance of DG Sets to be carried out :- |
| 28 | (i) Check oil bath cleaner oil level. |
| 29 | (ii) Check for proper tension in the belts. |
| 30 | (iii) Check starting battery electrolyte level and specific gravity. |
| 31 | (iv) Check the fuel lines from the tank for leakages. |
| 32 | (v) Check the end cover of the alternator and tighten the bolts. |
| 33 | (vi) Check physically the exhaust silencer for rigidness. |
| 34 | (vii) Check the water hoses for leakages if any. |
| 35 | (viii) Drain sediment from fuel filter & fuel tank. |
| 36 | (ix) Check dry type air filter element and clean. |
| 37 | (x) Check engine alternator coupling and mounting bolts. |
| 38 | (xi) Tight all bolts and nuts in alternator terminal box. |
| 39 | (xii) Check for any unusual sound during cranking of the engine. |
| 40 | (xiii) Check for any fuel/ water leakages. |
| 41 | (xiv) Check for any unusual vibrations. |
| 42 | (xv) Check proper charging of battery. |
| 43 | (xvi) Check exhaust system for any leakages. |
| 44 | (xvii) Check for proper circulation of coolant/ cooling of engine. |
| 45 | (xviii) Check physically the exhaust silencer for rigidness. |
| 46 | (xix) Check throttles linkage. |
| 47 | (xx) Checking to electric control panel throttle linkage. |
| 48 | (xxi) Supply and greasing to all bearing & movable parts. |
| 49 | (d) Quaterly Schedule to be carried out :- |
| 50 | (i) Checking of hydraulic governor oil level and toping up level. |
| 51 | (ii) Clean the crank case breather. |
| 52 | (iii) Check battery charging system & topping up electrolyte and maintenance of specific gravity. |
| 53 | (iv) Checking electric connection & generator control panel. |
| 54 | (v) Greasing to all bearing and movable parts. |
| 55 | Note :- The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the followings :- |
| 56 | (a) DG Sets are placed at various locations of East, West area of AFS Jalahalli Therefore,the bidders are advised to visit the location of DG Sets before quoting the tender. |
| 57 | (b) Servicing/ repair of DG Set shall be carried out by authorised dealer/ agency of manufacturer as approved by Engineer-in-Charge and where service/ repair is being carried out at site shall be under the expert supervision of authorised service agent. |
