| 90 | All machineries/equipments required for laying/hoisting of pipe line will be arranged by the contractor/firm at its own cost and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. |

| 92 | The rates of all the items shall be inclusive of the carriage of all the materials to charged all leads and lifts to the site of work. |

| 99 | Third party inspection from approved agencies i.e. RITES, ONV, BUREAU VIRTAS,OSS,EDILIPSE etc. Shall be carried by contractors in the presence of satisfaction of JSSV (not below the rank of AE) and nothing extra will be paid the contractors. |
| 100 | Foundation of pillars may be laid below the scour depth. |
| 101 | More distance of pipe flange to be laid over pillars shall not exceed 0.45 meters. |
| 102 | Pillars must be welded with steel section to act as steps for repair work. |

| 104 | Contractor shall be confirm the alignment with Executive Engineer Mandi before execution and accordingly the contractors will submit the design and drawing of civil works & pipes. Both hydraulic & structural design shall be submitted in 4 No’s fair copies. The hydraulic and structural design shall be vetted from any reputed institute like any IIT’s/NIT’s. The complete responsibility of hydraulic and structural design & drawing will be of contractors the institute vetting the same. |
| 105 | The firm shall forward a copy of supply order/indent placed by it for the supply of pumps and motors on the manufactures/authorized dealers of the pump and motors to the consignee within 30 days after issue of the letter of indent/award by the Engineer-in-Charge .The copy of supply order/indent to the consignee should also accompany the dealership certificate of the dealer for the pumping machinery in case the pumps and motors are arranged from the authorized dealer. |
| 106 | The firm shall arrange dispatch of offered pumps and motors to the consignee direct from the manufactureres /their authorized dealers of the pumping machinery for which the supply order/indent has been placed by the firm. The packing slip should indicate the details of materials in the package and material of construction of pumps and motors. |
| 107 | The shop test for the pumps and motors shall be carried out at manufacturers works in the presence of representative of the department as per IS-325-1978.The test performance certificate of the pumping machinery shall be arranged by the firm from the manufacturers and get it approved from the Engineer-in-charge before actual dispatch of the pumping machinery |
| 108 | The firm shall supply the recommended list of spares and quantities required for normal working of pumping machinery(2 years) from the manufacturers of the aforesaid equipment at the time of quoting rates and shall quote items rates for the same also. |
| 109 | The firm shall supply the manufacturers manual for the operation and maintenance of the pumping equipments. |
| 110 | The firm shall arrange operation and maintenance training to the operating staff for the pumping machinery (with out extra cost) for a period of 7 days i.e. during the testing period. |
| 111 | The characteristic curves of the pumping equipment shall be supplied with the offer, other wise the tender shall be rejected. |
| 112 | The firm shall supply layout drawing in respect of various components ,such as suction pipes,valves,cable trenches,control panel etc.from the foot valve location to the common header,which shall extend upto 5 metre from the outer walls of the pump house towards rising main. The details of foundations required for various components shall also be supplied by the firm within 30 days of the letter of indent/award. |
| 113 | The installation of pumping machinery above 100 HP shall be inspected by the technical representative of the manufacturers, of rank not less than that of a services Engineer,at the work site and inspection certificate shall be supplied to the Engineer-in-charge .This inspection shall be in addition to the test report and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. |
| 114 | The wiring and installation of electric equipment shall be as per HPSEB rules and regulations and subjected to the approval of the Chief Electrical Inspector and or his authorised officer. Any defect pointed out shall be rectified by the firm without any extra cost.The wiring and installation of all electrical equipment shall be done by a licensed contractor of approved class of HPSEB authorities on their approved format (form D)for release of power connection by the firm without extra cost. |
| 115 | The temporary electric connection, if required during installation shall be arranged by the firm at its own cost and energy charges shall also be paid directly by the firm to the HPSEB. |
| 116 | Prices of all items shall be F.O.R. site of work inclusive of all leads and lifts and shall be inclusive of all charges of transportation, insurance,packing,taxes and duties such as sale tax, excise duty, local taxes etc. |
| 117 | The rates shall be quoted only on the format of schedule of quantities, which is attached with the tender document giving all specified data so desired therein. |
| 118 | The rates offered for the specified makes in the schedule of quantities only shall be considered .Rates quoted for part or non specified makes shall lead to rejection of the tender. |
| 119 | The location of site can be ascertained from the concerned Asistnt Enginweer, and the rates quoted by the firm shall be inclusive of all machanical and manual transport within all leads and lifts to the site of work. |
| 120 | The contractor is requested to inspact the site before quoting his rate. |
| 121 | All the equipment/ material shall conform to the relevant BIS specifications, whereever applicable and in its absence to any accepted National/International standards. |
| 122 | The general specifications of work shall conform to Punjab PWD/HPPWD specifications as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 123 | The validity of the tender shall not be less than 120 days otherwise the tender shall be summarily rejected. |
| 124 | All the equipments shall be guaranted against any manufacturing defect including metallurgy and its performance for a period of 12 (twelve)months from the date of commissioning. Any defect,if noticed within the stipulated period shall be rectified by the firm at its own cost within 15 days of bringing the same to its notice. The guarantee clause shall be substantiated by a guarantee bond of a Nationalised Bank for an amount equal to the cost of pumping and electrical equipment (accessories included)pledged in the name of the Executive Engineer-in-Charge at the time of applying for refund of security deposits. The guarantee bond shall be released after the expiry of the guarantee period. |
| 125 | The installed pumping machinery and other allied accessories shall be tested daily for stipulated pumping hours in the NIT (20 Hours) for a period of seven days without extra cost. However the cost of electricity and water shall be borne by the department. |
| 126 | During the guarantee period efficiency of the pumping and the electric equipment should not vary beyond the range(+/-)2.5%. If during guarantee period, the efficiency falls beyond 2.5% to a maximum of 5%,1% cost of the pump set for 1% fall of the efficiency shall be deducted. In case of fall of efficiency beyond 5% the pump set shall be rejected and cost of the effected pump set recovered from the pledged Bank guarantee and or from the security deposit as the case may be. |
| 127 | 80% (Eighty percent) payment of the cost of pumping machinery and equipment less 10% security and other statutory recovery shall be made after receipt of complete pumping machinery i.e. pump and motors alongwith accessories received together at site of work in good condition. The balance 20% cost after deduction of the security and other recoveries shall be released after successful and satisfactory installation ,testing of entire equipment. Ten percent security deposits shall be released as stipulated in the agreement. |
| 128 | 90% (Ninty percent) installation charges shall be released after satisfactory installation of all the pumping and electrical equipment.Remaining 10% of installation charges shall be released after testing of the entire equipment . |
| 129 | In absence of performance curve,no offer will be entertained. |

| 131 | The alignment of pipe line is subject to change as per site conditions. Most suitable and technically feasible alignment as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge shall be followed at site and nothing extra shall be paid beyond the approved rates. |

| 133 | The firm has to give its working schedule for various components before start of work and get the same approved from Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 140 | The pipes shall be inspected by the Inspecting Officer appointed by the Engineer-in-Charge before despatch of same from the manufactures works. |
| 141 | No.and location of air valves and scour,tees is tentative and is subject to change as per site requirements.Acutally location shall be decided by Engineer-in-Charge and payment shall be made as per actual number provided at site without any deviation limit. |
| 142 | The firm shall quote rate for the requirement thickness as provided in the schedule of quantity otherwise tender will not be accepted. |
| 143 | In case the pipes of required thickness stipulated in the schedule of quantities asre not in the manufacturing range,the firm may quote ratre for telerance as approved by ISI. But nothing extra shall be paid for (+)side telereance.The rate for (-) side telerance will be decided accordingly.In case the pipes are supplied in (-) side telerance,recovery will be effected for the difference of weight of pipe required and pipe supplied on the basis of their rates. |
| 144 | The firm should supplied the experience certificate for completing two or three work of similar nature successfully. |
| 145 | Thesite shall be inspected by the tender or before offering his rates, |
