| 7 | Note - 1) All type of shuttering shall be designed by contractor and submitted to Engineer in charge along with design calculations (if required) for approval and got approved by Engineer in charge. The rate shall be inclusive of above all (rates include the cost of labour, material, T & P, cost of handling, lifting, Lowering & placing in position the reinforcement cage in the trench by suitable method, incl. the additional cost of welding the reinforcement bars, provision of the coupler in the wall at the raft and floor slab connections, after excavation clean the location of coupler for rebar etc. involved in the work, provision of weep hole as per drawing if required, and all other incidental expenditure for completing the work, construction of guide wall including reinforcement as directed by the Engineer-in-charge), but excluding the cost of reinforcement of D wall, soil anchors and PVC water stop which shall be paid in relevent tender item. However, the actual area of the diaphragm wall, correct to two places of decimal, from the design bottom level to the design cut-off level (theoretical dimensions) (including portion anchored in the rock/earth up to the design bottom level) and thickness as per approved design only shall be measured for payment. Excess/less cement used for design mix including the extra cement required for underwater concreting is not payable/recoverable separately. |
