| 1 | M & L for providing and consolidating minimum 60mm thick premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading ll) using min 4.5 % VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix, aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of Table 500-10 of MoRTH Specification for Road and Bridge Works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient over tack coat of VG 10 @ 3 kg / 10 Sqm over existing DAC-II bituminous surfaces including preparation of black top surfaces by mechanical broom and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor all to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and directed.Notes:(i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content (polymer modified bitumen) is used/ approved subsequent to approval of job mix formula in the execution of work under this item.(ii) No adjustment in quantity of cement (filler) as per approved design mix/ job mix formula shall be made.(iii) Trial bay as specified herein after shall be prepared but no payment shall be made for the same. Unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of this provision. (iv) Work shall be done by using Hot Mix Plant and sensor paver. |

| 3 | M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M & L for providing and carrying out cold milling, cutting, removing and disposing off existing bituminous pavement of runway and taxiway using approved self-propelled cold milling machine with automatic grade and slope control, capable of milling to the required depth, width and profile, including removal of distressed, uneven, cracked and damaged pavement layers average thickness 20mm but not exceeding 60mm laid, to achieve true line, level and cross-fall as per standards, MoRTH specifications, complete all as specified and directed. Note: This item will be executed for purpose of achieving desired thickness wherever cutting is required as well as in provision of temporary ramps, if any. |
| 5 | Supply only moorum/ Red bajri for filling complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | Forming embankments using moorum brought from Item above including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 15 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc n exc. 1.5m high from base complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces of moorum in cutting/filling etc. shall be carried out using power roller exc 08 tonne & n exc 12 tonne in each layers. The rates for rolling shall include cost for watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber, keeping roller wheels wet, if required, filling in hollows and depressions. |
| 7 | M & L for preparation of new black top or concrete surface of runways/taxi track/apron and mechanically painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc and the like exc 10 cm wide, to the shape and pattern as per instructions, with two coats of water based paint, first quality, white, golden yellow and black etc complete all as specified and directed. |
