| 1 | Comprehensive maintenance consisting of fort-nightly examination, testing, adjustment, oiling / lubrication, checking, cleaning, servicing, preventive maintenance, necessary repairs and replacement of defective parts etc., for smooth operation of electrically operated various makes lift 8 / 13 passengers capacity / Goods lift of 1.00 metre per second speed of AC VVV frequency drive with micro processor miconic control with simplex collective selective control system ARD (Auto Rescue Device) in multistorey building to serve ground floor and five upper floors in CABS / STIR / DEBEL / ADE Bangalore including repair / replacement as required of car light LED, call bell, Audio system, fire switch, fire switch glass, car position indicator, car control switch, indicating lamp, door coupler, limit switch, replacement of broken mirror if any, maintenance of all indicators etc and ensuring continuous and effective functioning of lifts. The repair / replacement of defective parts in the lift shall be done by the contractor free of cost within 24 hours of notification for minor / medium rectification and within 72 hours for major rectification complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | NOTE :- (i) The rate quoted included necessary repair to ARD (Auto Rescue Device) to make it proper functional. (ii) The contractor shall ensure that no password, passcode or multiple passwords / passcodes are set on any drive, panel, control board, or any other programmable board / equipment without obtaining prior written permission from the Department. In all such approved cases, the contractor must immediately intimate the Department in writing regarding the password / passcode used. (iii) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include the complete removal of any type of password / passcode at any level in the lift system or in any of its connected panels, boards, drives, or cards, as required by the Department. |

| 10 | NOTE FOR SL ITEM NO, 1.01 to 1.08 :-1. The contractor shall get inspected all lifts by lift inspector nominated by Chief Electrical Inspectorate of Karnataka and obtain worthi-ness certificate once in the currency of the contract but not later than four months from the date of acceptance of tender without any financial effect.2. Maintenance and repair of all lifts and attending day to day complaints for the mentioned area DRDO Labs all as directed / specified as under:-(a) Nature of duty :-(i) Attending of all day to day complaints of maintenance works. (ii) Lift technician to be present in the area for attending emergency break down. (iii) In case emergency arises, contractor has to be depute their technical person / Engineer to sites in odd hours to repair the defects and resolve the problem.(iv) The complaint needs to be attended within 15 min as received telephonically and necessary safety measures to be carried out if not attended within specified period, then penalty of Rs 500 per hour max to Rs 25000 will be imposed by department per complaint. |
| 11 | (v) Contractor should strictly adhere to the statutory regulation viz minimum wages act, PF act, ESI scheme and other regulation.(vi) In case of delay in attending the complaints in time, department will be at liberty to get the work done through any other contractor and cost may be recovered from the tenderer.(vii) The Lift will be handed over to the contractor in working condition. Any malfunctioning further during the period of contract will be rectified by the contractor. (viii) It is responsibility of the contractor to diagnose the probable defect upon receipt of the complaint, inform the deptt accordingly & carry out satisfactory rectification of defect within prescribed time limit, which shall not exceed 48 hours |
