Lifting of the stuck gate at check dam Pranjali by way of opening of the jammed gear box of the operating mechanism along with its accessories and taking out the jammed /stuck parts and cleaning with kerosene oil and greasing of all the moving parts along with handle chain mechanism of lifting arrangement. Removing of damaged steel rope from the pulley of MS gate. Providing and fitting of new steel rope of 16mm dia and approx. 20 mtr in length, greasing of wire rope and giving it proper tension. Removing of bushes, stones, silt, trash from grooves and front portion of stuck gate properly. Cleaning the gates wheels as well as gate tracks with old cloth and sand paper to remove dust and silt. Greasing the tracks of the gate, pulleys properly. Checking of the locking arrangement and replacement of damaged pins/keys of the same. Lifting of stuck gate using special tools and tackles. Checking and ensuring that up and down travelling of the gate should be smooth and trouble free. Job further includes cleaning, oiling and greasing to the worm gear lifting mechanism of all the other 09 nos gates at check dam Pranjali. Checking and ensuring that up and down movement of all the gates is smooth and proper. Complete job includes cost of material, rebate on old parts, labour charges for skilled and semiskilled labour, charges on account of special tool and tackles required for the job.
