| 3 | Earth work in cutting river bank in all types of soil in required profile and removing the roots, grass and shrubs and disposal of the excavated material at suitable places as directed by Engineer, including all lifts and leads. |
| 4 | Earth work in filling in required profile in selected soil obtained from the approved borrow pit or any other source, free from logs, stumps, roots rubbish, etc. and placing the earth in layers not exceeding 225mm in thickness levelling dressing watering, ramming and consolidating by approved means to the required profile under the direction of the Engineer, including all leads & lifts etc., complete. |
| 5 | Supply and making of concrete square piles of approved quality of size 300mm x 300mm of required length including all fittings and fixtures etc. as shown in drawing for driving at site, etc. all complete as per approved designed and direction of Engineer except cost of reinforcement & form work. |
| 6 | Providing, hoisting and fixing pre-cast reinforced cement concrete slabs (first lower slab, then middle finally the top slab and anchor slab). Complete including temporary shuttering for placing in position etc., all complete except cost of reinforcement & form work. |

The rate shall include cost of steel plates, cutting into required size, welding and fixing of steel plate into one side of anchor rod, transportation, applying of one coat of metallic primer and two coats of black bituminous paint etc., complete. |
| 13 | Extra for providing and fixing 32mm dia Anchor rod for length 3.0 m as shown in drawing including cost of materials like washers, nuts etc., threading of rod upto a length of 20cm, applying of one coat of metallic primer and two coats of black bituminous paint and all labour etc. complete. |

| 20 | Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of 90 mm to 45 mm & 53 mm to 22.4 mm to WBM to be laid in two layers in uniform thickness of 10cm, hand packing, laying of binding material, watering in each layers, consolidation with light power road-roller in stages to proper grade and camber without causing any damage to new P&S bank protection, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.
