Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm to 40 mm dia for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with pitch free grey polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30% minimum depth of sealent above de bonding strip shall be 10-15mm and applying masking tap on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. |

| 4 | M&L for Cutting existing loose patches/spalled edges, widening of existing cracks of concrete pavement in true geometrical shapes to average depth of 20 mm to 25 mm using diamond cutters operated with gen sets, cleaning the surface dry and free from dust/dirt with air compressor in order to achieve proper bond between elastomeric concrete and cement concrete surface and applying polyurethane based elastomeric concrete over a coat of approved primer as per manufacturer's instructions including supply and fixing masking tape on pavement surface to prevent accidental spillage of elastomeric concrete and removing the masking tape and cleaning the area of application after the application is over complete all as specified and directed. |

PQC laid, spread and compacted with paver of minimum 7.50 m width , including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing Machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause -, 10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC' 15-2017 compete all specified and directed. |

| 14 | M&L for repair to cracks of any type of width and depth in flexible surfaces by cleaning of the cracks with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI,coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust or any foregin materials etc and apply Tar Plastic cold applied bituminous caulking compound filling the crack complete all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.Note:- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for the above item:-(i) A performance guarantee certificate for one year shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the works as specified.(ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface from accindental spillage of tar plastic and removal & disposal of the same afterwards. |
