| 1 | M&L for taking out of submersible pump and motor of 50 to 55 HP capacity from bore including flanged column pipes with chain pulley arrangements by engaging sufficient man power to ensure safety of equipment/plant as well as working persons including disconnecting of delivery main lines and electric connections and lowering the same including reconnecting the flanged column pipes and delivery main lines and electric connections of the same after completion of repair complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The whole job of repair of submersible pump shall be completed within 24 hours of reporting the non working of the submersible pump set, time will be counted when JE/AGE E/M will inform the contractor by means of telephone, massege, whatsapp, letter etc., failing which Rs. 200/- per hour will be deducted as compensation.(ii) One rep of the contractor will visit daily to pump houses to the check the smooth functioning of the Submersible pumps and healthy operation of the starter panel and report the same to JE Incharge/Engineer- in-charge on daily basis. An attendence register shall be maintained by JE (E/M) in this regard. |

(b) SLUDGE REMOVAL : Removing of all type of sludge, accumulated mud, silt, sand, vegetation growth or any solid particles etc. from bottom surface and inner walls of tank with the help of sludge pumps or manually disposing off the same to a distance exceeding 50 mtrs but not exceeding 100 mtrs away from the fencing of installation, and spreading in low lying areas. (c) ALGAE REMOVAL : Removal of Algae, Calcinations etc from the walls with rotary cleaner/scrubber machine/wire brushes etc. (d) INTERNAL WASHING : Washing of Walls and Ceiling with the help of high pressure jet cleaners using fresh and clean water. (e) ANTI-BACTERIAL TREATMENT : Walls and ceiling to be sterilized with food grade anti-bacterial solution for making it bacteria free. (f) VACUUM CLEANING : Complete removal of remaining sludge, accumulated mud, silt, sand with the help of vacuum cleaners. (g) Air purification: Tank will be sterilized and disinfected with the help of ozone gas to make the tank bacteria free. |
| 75 | Notes : (i) All the equipment/material required for cleaning of tank will be brought by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid in this effect. (ii) The contractor must intimate atleast one week in advance for cleaning of tank and only after approval of Engr -in-charge/GE, the cleaning will be carried out. (iii) The contractor must carry out all the process in such a way that the complete inside cleaning process as mentioned above must be finished in one day only to cause minimum disturbance to regular water supply to connected area. (iv) The contractor must cater for all safety arrangement i. e. safety belts/ helmet / safety harness, scaffolding etc for working man power and inspecting staff and no extra cost will be paid in this effect. (v) The cost of cleaning area / grass cutting / removal of minor bushes / roots of dead tree within 15 metre radius from outer edge of plinth protection of the tank shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (vi) The branches of trees covering the roof of OHR shall be trimmed by the contractor up to 5 mtr distance from OHR and no extra cost will be paid in this effect. (vii) Insurrance of all persons working on OHR will be done by contarctor and is fully responsible for any risk involved. |
