(A) Excavation of earth/trenches 1000 mm deep from FGL level for laying MS earth mat (32 mm dia MS round rod).(B) Laying of 32 mm dia MS round earth rod horizontally in 1000 mm deep trenches at every 3 mtr lengthwise and every 3 mtr widgthwise throughout the switchyard.(C) At the level of 1000 mm deep trenches, at each cross joint of horizontally laid MS earth mat, bury 3 mtr long 32 mm dia MS round earth rod vertically in the ground and properly shape and weld each joint. The works includes cutting, shaping and binding, preparation of joints, proper making and welding of main earth mat bar joints and applying bitumen, bitumen impregnated on joints U clamp i.e. end joints, cross joints, lap joints etc).(D) To weld riser GI strip of 50x6 mm from main horizontal earth mat as per leg of each switchyard structures and to weld riser strip from two different locations (top & bottom) on the leg of the structures of each equipments like Transformer, Terminal gantry, Bus-bar gantry, Post insulator, 33 kV CT, 33 kV PT, Line & Bus isolator etc. |

(A) Laying of 32 mm dia MS round earth rod in the switchgear room at both ends of the cable trench up to 3 mtr away from the control building (At a depth of 1000 mm from FGL level outside the control building).(B) Welding 04 no. 32 mm dia MS earth rods of 3-3 mtrs horizontally in square shape from the edge of the main earth rod laid on both the ends outside the control building and burying 04 no. 32 mm dia MS rods of 3-3 mtrs vertically at the four corners of the earth rod laid in square shape to a depth of 4000 mm from the FGL level and welding them with the main horizontal earth rod.(C) Welding of 50x6 mm riser GI strip to the main MS rod of 32 mm dia laid in the switchgear room trench and jointing the other end of the GI strip to the earthing point of 11 kV panels and 33 kV control panels.(D) Delta Chemical earthing for CR Panel -Earthing of indoor equipments by means of G.I. Strip 50x6mm connecting to Pipe type earthing as per norms. Joints will be welded with high quality arc welding. (All required materials will be provided by contractor. |

The works includes cutting, shaping and binding, preparation of joints, proper making and welding of main earth mat bar joints and applying bitumen, bitumen impregnated on joints U clamp i.e. end joints, cross joints, lap joints etc).(D) To weld riser GI strip of 50x6 mm from main horizontal earth mat as per leg of each switchyard structures and to weld riser strip from two different locations (top & bottom) on the leg of the structures of each equipments like Transformer, Terminal gantry, Bus-bar gantry, Post insulator, 33 kV CT, 33 kV PT, Line & Bus isolator etc. |

Strip 50x6mm connecting to Pipe type earthing as per norms. Joints will be welded with high quality arc welding. (All required materials will be provided by contractor. |
